Now bear in mind I have only used high end Miller or Lincoln products, so when I started seeing all the social media hype about inexpensive plasma cutters, well I was skeptical to say the least. After doing some research I opted to buy the YESWELDER 65 Plasma cutter to have in my home garage simply because I hate to pull out the Ox-Acc torches every time I need to cut something. Here are the reasons I chose it. #1, 65 amps of cutting power means it will cut faster and thicker material. #2, non contact cutting (Torch tip does not have to be touching the metal that your cutting). #3, the IPT-40 plasma torch is good quality and when you buy a consumable tip kit they are upgraded to the IPT-60 heavy duty style. #4. it can be used on 110 or 220 volts ( I use 220 because I cut mostly 1/4 to 1/2 steel) Now all that being said is it as good as a $4000 cutter no, but its real good for a under $300 cutter. Now I see some comments about the consumables being pricey but in the grand scheme of thing they are much cheaper than buying oxygen & acetylene. Make sure you order a consumable kit as you will need it.
