I bought this specifically to play the HBS Battletech mod BEX: commanders edition. Money well spent. Yeah the fans are loud but it means I can run my game for hours no noticable loss in performance. 3050 gpu, 16gb of RAM with an i5-11400 for under $800 yes please. Ok now that I have had this thing for a minute and run more than a few multi-hour sessions. GPU can get warm but it responds very well to the cheap gaming laptop cooling stand I bought. To the point the loud internal fans are not loud at all. Graphics are great, thing is blazingly fast. Seeing rain drops, cloud shadow, wind, birds etc in my game is awesome. I would definitely recommend. Note, reviews of gigabyte customer service stink so I added an Asurion protection plan but would still buy it again. Everything else with an 11th gen chip, 16gb ram, 144mhz screen and 3050gpu is significantly more money.

I have been using for 3 months now and I havnt had a single issue and only big down side is battery life which isn't big deal wall cord is plenty long enough to reach most places I need to plug it up and it's not super heavy like most gaming laptops also seems the screen is tiny bit flimsier then I'd like but great overall laptop for gaming in bed or on the go

Had this laptop for two years, since then I've refrained from leaving a long term review until now Let's not overexcite ourselves. Understand what this Laptop is. It is a portable powerhouse for the AVERAGE consumer. This is a great laptop. Will it replace your midrange to high end desktop? No. With that being said, for a mobile unit this thing is solid. Quick and snappy even underload. I've edited videos at 1080, used photoshop and recorded videos and it has never felt slow. Keyboard is rubbery and build is plastic. All the money went to the MOBO, CPU and GPU. Looks like a government laptop, so I guess it's a plus if you wanna deter people. Gaming: if you're coming from ancient hardware, this thing is a god send even at 4gb Vram. Ignore the 8GB+ elitist max graphics snobbery (low settings now a days look great). Plays the latest titles at 1080 and 1440 60fps depending on the game pretty reliably. If you're playing less demanding games that I do like Genshin and Star Rail, Apex, etc. this goes max settings at 60 all day NO frame dips! You do have to tune your settings to make it run right which takes time (driver updates, BIOS, CPU OC/Turbo boost etc, task manager) WHAT IT'S NOT FOR: If you're a software engineer or AI creator or something demanding, don't buy this. It's not meant for you since it will not allow you the GPU bandwidth. Also, if you're going to max out a 2024+ triple A game on this, lower your expectations because it won't do it very well. If you know what you're using this for and know that you can absolutely game on this with some compromises, this is as good as it gets since you can do everything from content creation, editing, business tasks, gaming, internet surfing AND be portable. THINGS TO NOTE: battery sucks - don't expect to leave it unplugged for long, laptops run HOT so a good quality laptop cooler is HIGHLY recommended to extend the life of your laptop (Genshin max settings saw 90*c temps on CPU and GPU, IETS laptop cooler reduced to 60-70 with same settings), LOUD laptop fans while gaming (I wear headphones so doesn't matter lol). Two years later and it never gave me any issues. Runs like a dream and does what I ask it to. 4 stars because it needs to be constantly plugged in

The laptop is great works most modern games with highest graphics over 60fps it is a little loud doe but if you wear headsets it doesn't matter but be aware the screen is pretty weak its made out of thin plastic be careful when opening the laptop

I'm not obsessed with 4K UHD HDR graphics, and I'm not Livestreaming while I game. What I am doing is playing Resident Evil 2 Remake (medium settings) Halo Infinite (Low Settings) and psychonauts 2 (medium/high) with no problem. This is my first gaming laptop and I'm beyond happy with it.

Genial, bien empacada, funciona al 100%. Puedes tener problemas con el audio, si al instalar inicias sesión con una cuenta existen y descarga tus configuraciones, te desactiva el audio y se soluciona hasta que instalas de nuevo como un equipo nuevo. La batería rinde entre 3 y 4 horas depende de la actividad, o si miras o escuchas multimedia. la pantalla trabaja muy bien, velocidad super, pensé por reseñas leídas de compras anteriores que sería más ruidosa, rara vez se escuchan los ventiladores, es muy silenciosa, y configurada adecuadamente no tiene comparación con otros equipos de similar precio. Para mi gusto personal, las teclas son muy pequeñas, y la disposición de las flechas con el la tecla del numero 0, tiende a confundir un poco a la hora de escribir, pero será cuestión de acostumbrase. Por lo demás, un excelente equipo a considerar, si haces trabajo contable o de ingeniería te recomendaría que la compres con pantalla de 17" o mas, si las hay disponible en su momento.

A year after ordering this I am sincerely regretting doing so. The graphics card has had all sorts of issues requiring me to do a factory reset at least twice to fix the issues. Everyone once in a while it will glitch out and cause all sorts of screen tearing even when just using a internet browser. Most recently it seems the GPU has given up the ghost and has stopped being recognized by the system. Best thing is I am not even covered by a warranty because. according to the manufacturer Gigabyte. the laptop was purchased at a Best Buy half a year before I purchased it from Amazon which meant the warranty was already expired by the time I received it.

r y k x 0 . 9 7 buttons broken and unusable, had to type and use a wireless keyboard now I don't game anymore so I seldom use this laptop since I use an older one for watching movies and shows so it broke without even much use I'm now trying to get back into gaming but now can't you're better off going with a big name brand like lenovo, asus, razer, alienware, etc

اللابتوب ممتاز ولكن حين جربته كان 60 واط سحب كرت الشاشه فقط ومكتوب بالموقع يصل ل80 واط سحب كرت الجرافيكس ولكن طلع هنالك برنامج يشتغل بالخلفين ياتي مع نفس الجهاز يحده ب60 واط عندما فتحته استطعت تشغيله ف 85 واط! لم اعرف هاذا الشيء الا بعد تجربه 6 اشهر لاعلم لماذا لم يوضح هاذا الشيء

Muy buena y por el precio que la conssegui... pffff Excelente Hasta ahora la he probado con paquetería Adobe (Premiere, After Effects, Photoshop, Ilustrator), Cinema4D, Zbrush, AutoCAD y dos juegos: Injustice 2 y Control (Hasta ahora). Todo super bien... si suena mucho los ventiladores, pero me parece que es por el sistema de enfriamento que me parece muy bueno, No es un ruido insoportable y gracias a ello, al usar la GPU y el CPU al 99% la temperatura no excede los 75°C Igual viene con su propio programa de control (Si no lo han visto, se abre con Fn+Esc), desde ahi puedes cambiar el modo de rendimiento a uno equilibrado, uno que te da mas potencia pero hace mas ruido, a uno silencioso donde limita la potencia pero esta callada la lap o a uno que te ahorre pila. Desde ahi mismo te permite cambiar el color de los LED del teclado al que quieras asi como el brillo. Y tambien tiene una opción ahi mismo para elegir la velocidad de los ventiladores (Mínimo, máximo, personalizado o automático)... eso me encantó. La pantalla es grande de 15.6'' pero la lap es compacta, pequeña y sin tantos bordes en la pantalla lo que la hace más movil que otras computadoras de estas características. ¿Qué no me gusta? • Al ser de Estados Unidos, el teclado viene en inglés • De los 3 puertos USB, uno es 2.0 (Aunque trae un Tipo C) ¿Qué me gusta? Todo lo demás • Buena pantalla (IPS 1080p) a 144Hz • Teclado • Potencia • Viene con SSD m.2 y trae otro Slot para otro m.2 y ademas uno para un SSD/HDD de 2.5'' (3 espacios para almacenamiento) • Trae los 16Gb de RAM con dos memorias de 8Gb (Aunque preferiria que fuera en una de 16 para solo comprar una de 16 y no cambiar ambas para subirla a 32) • Viene ya con Windows 11

Muy buen equipo, estaba un poco nervioso por los malos comentarios que tenía al principio pero el equipo salió muy bien. Lo que dicen las reviews en internet sí es cierto, se siente un poco plástica, se calienta un poco, los ventiladores pueden llegar a ser ruidosos pero a mí parecer todos esos puntos malos son exageraciones. Se siente un poco plástica, sí, pero no es nada grave. Se calienta un poco, sí, si le exiges mucho a un equipo y sus componentes trabajan a su máximo obviamente se va a calentar, eso no es algo raro, además, es una laptop, es comprensible puesto que estás muy cerca de los componentes, no como en una computadora de escritorio que el gabinete está apartado de ti, mi recomendación es comprarle un ventilador externo para que el flujo de aire sea aún mejor. Los ventiladores son ruidosos, sí, pero solo cuando le exiges mucho al equipo, por ejemplo, si juegas, sí se van a escuchar mucho, pero hoy en día son pocas las personas que juegan sin audífonos así que debería ser un problema, las actividades cotidianas como tener abiertas varias pestañas en el navegador y algun pdf o trabajando en word generalmente no hacen que la velocidad de los ventiladores aumente y en su nivel basal es muy silencioso el equipo. Finalmente, también se hacían comentarios respecto a la autonomía, la batería es pequeña y si tiene menos autonomía que una laptop normal pero tampoco es muy notable la diferencia, en mi caso estuve 3 hrs trabajando con chrome, word y algunas aplicaciones extra antes de que se terminara la batería. Corre sin problemas programas como AutoCAD, Fusion 360, Matlab, etc.

Muy bien era tal cual lo esperado

Es una excelente compra pero podrías tener problemas con el rendimiento. Resulta que la versión de la BIOS que tiene de fábrica tiene problemas de rendimiento, tendrías que actualizarla a la versión 9 o 10 para que se resuelva, después de eso los juegos y el rendimiento general, ya van bien. Punto en contra, es ruidosa cuando juegas, pero con audífonos se resuelve. Yo sentí que se calentaba mucho, moví un poco la configuración de los ventiladores y se resolvió. Siempre ocupo windows y todo hay interfaz gráfica para configurar, por lo que no hay problemas con las temperaturas. Pero en Linux es otra cosa, tienes que configurar algunas cosas y al final no encontré alguna herramienta como la de windows, entonces encontré que yo puedo activar el ventilado manualmente con el teclado, simplemente aprietas las teclas Fn + 1 y se activan los ventiladores en la modalidad Full, cuando veas que ya está mejor la temperatura (lm_sensors te puede ayudar) puedes apretar las mismas teclas y se quita el modo Full. En general es una compra muy buena.
