Sturdy, good led control, smooth writing
One of the best mechanical pencils I have used. Sturdy, led moves smoothly and I like the rotation. Compared to a similar plastic one this is more than worth the slightly higher price.

Best pencil I've ever used
I guess I'll start off by saying I'm a bit of a pencil connoisseur. I've bought plenty of nice pens and pencils, most with some novelty like Dr Grip or Zebra Delguard, and I bought this pencil as a replacement for an old, cheaper Kuru Toga I had used for about a year. Although I purchased this simply as an addition to my collection, since I received this I have hardly used anything else. First let me say that Kuru Toga pencils have the best output. It's very difficult nowadays for me to go back to other pencils which result in broader lead strokes, especially when I'm using it for subjects such as physics and calculus where I'm constantly scribbling out tiny symbols and equations. The rotating tip in these pencils significantly does allow for a finer pencil stroke (and incidentally saves lead and paper space). Bearing that in mind, this particular pencil is the perfect version of the Kuru Togas. I love everything about it. This pencil has a bit of weight to it, which most mechanical pencils lack. That's not to say it's uncomfortable though. The mechanism in the tip adds enough weight to perfectly balance the pencil right in the center of where it's gripped, and I have literally written hours upon hours nonstop with it in complete comfort. On top of that, the pencil looks absolutely amazing. The shaft is matted black plastic that looks like metal and looks sleek and cool, while the grip is textured and feels and looks great. Everything about it is cool and has a unique aura of class and sophistication. My only little irrelevant complaint is that the window which shows the tip spinning is rather small (most other Kuru Togas have windows which wrap around the pencil so you can perpetually see the logo spinning as you write). However, this just adds to the subtlety which makes this pencil so fashionably great. So, this pencil is perfect. It feels great, it looks great, and it performs great. The last Kuru Toga I had has lasted now for more than a year, and the quality of this pencil is so fantastic I expect to be using it for years to come. It is absolutely perfect.

More Consistent High Quality Mechanical Pencil
I use this mechanical pencils in school for high quality writing that looks neat consistent without the need to constantly sharpen. (which is why I use mechanical pencils over standard wooden pencils) This mechanical pencil fulfills this need, some other lower quality pencils I use just don’t do the job as well as the Uni Kuru Toga Roulette. Pros - The build quality is great - The grip is surprisingly comfortable - The spinning lead feature is good - The design is very nice Cons - Writing in cursive doesn’t spin the lead - You need to press a little bit harder to spin the lead Firstly I will state the obvious the build quality is great, and the design of it is slim and sleek without unnecessary parts protruding out. The grip as well feels comfortable as well which I thought wouldn’t be the case after writing for several hours, however I was wrong. However you don’t by this pencil just for the build quality you buy this pencil with the rotating lead in mind. Which I think is implemented finely, however the system isn’t perfect. For instance for cursive writers the spinning of the lead wouldn’t always actuate, and for people who write normally you do need to apply slightly more pressure than just putting the pencil on paper. (You could probably get used to it overtime) Overall if you’re looking to buy this pencil to have consistent writing I think it is a great buy the spinning lead whilst not perfect definitely does as advertised and the build quality is very nice. I would definitely recomend this to people who want a high quality mechanical pencil that lasts long, and people who want an extra layer of consistency to their handwriting. As for people who write a lot cursive I don’t think it is a deal breaker that the lead won’t always spin after every letter (mainly because it would still spin after every word, and the pencil still feels great) however due to the price I would maybe consider other similar quality options. TL DR High quality, designed well, feels comfortable, writes consistently. No huge cons, but takes a little bit of time to adjust the amount of pressure when pressing on the paper when writing to turn the lead, and cursive writers don’t benefit as much from the design.

A Mechanical Pencil That Truly Stands Out
This is, hands down, the best mechanical pencil I’ve ever used. The Uni Core Keeps Sharp – Roulette Model feels like a premium writing tool from the moment you pick it up. The all-metal body has a perfect weight and balance to it solid but not heavy making it incredibly comfortable for long writing or sketching sessions. The real star, though, is the “Kuru Toga” mechanism. It actually rotates the lead as you write, so the tip stays sharp and consistent, reducing breakage and keeping your writing neat. I was skeptical at first, but it really works and makes a noticeable difference, especially if you write a lot. The knurled metal grip adds a professional touch and gives you full control without slipping. It’s become my go-to pencil for both work and drawing, and I’ve already recommended it to several friends. If you're someone who values build quality, performance, and thoughtful design in your writing tools, this mechanical pencil is 100% worth it.

Great pencil.
This is my second mechanical pencil of this line, I bought the silver version of this last year. First off, let me say that this is a VERY nice writing unessential. I used my first Kuru Toga almost everyday in and outside of school. My trusted pencil was able to endure roughly eight full pages front and back of notes per day, then an hour or so of work in my sketchbook at home, and then some with some piano transcribing [which is usually pretty rough on pencils because of constant dark shading]. On top of that, I carried it in my pocket for most of the day. In other words, you can really work this pencil. The only reason I'm not using this pencil now is because some jerk in my history class stole it. The metal body is tough and sturdy, and the rotating lead actually does help [I was somewhat skeptical of it before buying.], and the grip fits really well to the fingers and won't slip in a sweaty hand, and the eraser is pretty good [located under the cap on the top], but I recommend using a regular separate eraser, as it is pretty small. I just received my new black pencil, and it looks great! Arrived a whole four days ahead of schedule. I have not had a chance to use it very heavily yet, but considering how great my last one was, there shouldn't be any differences. If you're looking for an amazing, affordable mechanical pencil, this is the one.

After two years, it is the best writing utensil I've ordered
I am pretty vocal about my writing supplies. I need the right pens, paper, pencils, whatever. I write long-hand and I do it a lot. I have dozens of hand-written notebooks filled from cover-to-cover. Over the years, I've written with some of the best pens on the market and have tried dozens of pencils looking for the best one. I had almost given up hope, but two years ago, I bought this one. This pencil is by far the best I've used for writing notes. I have tiny, precise handwriting and this thing never lets me down. I even prefer it over pen these days. The only downside to this pencil is that I'm not a fan of a knurled grip, but that was easily overcome. I also should say, as far a knurl goes, this one is pretty smooth. If you like something like the knurl on a Zebra F-701, this one might not be "grippy" enough for you. I have used this pen with various 0.5 mm leads, but the Uni Kura Toga lead is by far the best for use with it. I recommend snagging up some extras. Because the lead will stay sharp, your lead will probably last longer than you're used to with a mechanical pencil, but you don't want to run out. Another down point for some may be the eraser. Like most mechanical pencils the eraser is meh. But, I've always treated it like an emergency only tool anyway. I carry a stick eraser with me at all times anyway. If you have tiny handwriting like I do, you can't do better.

Solid metal craftsmanship with the rotating technology.
I like the feel, quality, and solid (heavy) quality and functionality of this pencil. The weight makes for a unique flow not found elsewhere. It is fun to have the rotating lead feature, and makes the writing experience that much better. Great for drafting or math students and professionals.. If you let someone borrow it, make sure you don't let them keep it for too long - you might not ever see it again. Great mechanical pencil!

Great Everyday Carry for Strong Gripped Writers
I purchased this mechanical pencil almost exactly three years ago now, and I think that it is my favorite mechanical pencil that I have used. I am currently working on my undergrad in Computer Science, and this pencil has survived my horrendously strong grip extremely well. At the risk of sounding cliche, I believe that it has made my handwriting more legible when I write quickly, since the rotation mechanism reduces variance in how the lead tip meets the paper that I write on. I have used other pencils like the Zebra 301, and Rotring 600, and even the plastic version of this pencil from Uni, but this is my everyday carry. The Zebra and plastic versions were snapped by my grip after a few months, and the 600 has a delicate tip which makes me leave it at home. I like the rotating mechanism that keeps the lead tip sharp, which reduces the need to rotate the pencil after writing on the same surface for an extended period of time. Pros: + Great build quality, it has survived three years of constant heavy gripped writing (I've snapped a few pencils) + It can store around 6 or 7 lead pieces in the barrel without any problems with jamming + The rotating lead mechanism resists against lead breakage and keeps the point consistent + Pretty sleek design with a small circular cutout to watch the rotation mechanism Cons: - The eraser is extremely small, so it is best to use a dedicated eraser instead - Pricey compared to most other mechanical pencil alternatives - Not a pencil to let other people borrow

Guter Stift, funktioniert wie beschrieben
Ordentlicher Druckbleistift.

Qualità e precisione GIAPPONESE, must have
