Caffeine Solution 5% + EGCG Eye Serum, Depuffing Eye Serum for Dark Circles and Tired Eyes

I’ve used this product for years at this point. I didn’t think it was too effective initially, so when I ran out didn’t repurchase. A couple months later I realized what a difference it made. Repurchased, went home for summer, and my sister complimented my lack of under eye bags which is something I’ve never heard before. How I use it: I’ll rub the dropper in a small triangle (two strokes at 45 degrees) a half inch under the corner of my eye. (I know I know shouldn’t touch dropper to face in skincare world, but I’ve had no issues). I’ll then rub it in with my ring finger. Actually using the dropper for drops is way too much product for me and is just messy. I use it morning and night. Avoid the eye. No issues with makeup or sensitivity and I have very sensitive skin / acne prone.

This stuff works, but like any good skin care routine, it takes a little time. I bought this more for the reduction of puffiness as opposed to dark circles. A little bit goes a VERY long way, so it is an excellent value for the price. I dab a little of the serum under my eyes after cleansing and wait for it to set in. You can literally FEEL it tightening the skin under your eyes. It's not a miracle cure, but it really does do what it claims to do. I will continue purchasing as I am pleased with the product and the relatively quick results.

While I wouldn’t say it was a miracle worker it does help eliminate some of my puffiness and redness under my eyes, which as someone who has genetically puffy dark under eyes I will take. It only takes on drop per eye so it will probably last a while. Seem to work better on my eye bags than any patches I have tried. It isn’t greasy and can be a little drying so apply a good moisturizer after.

I just got this a few days ago to help with under-eye puffiness, so it’s a bit early to judge long-term effectiveness or overall brightening results, but my initial impression is very positive! For overall ease of use, the glass dropper makes application simple; the directions recommend one drop per eye, but running a finger along the applicator tip gives just the right amount of product. The serum has a nice, rich texture that absorbs into the skin quickly without leaving a sticky residue. The skin compatibility is impressive—I accidentally got a little directly in my eye and was very surprised that it didn't sting at all! The fragrance is subtle, light, and very pleasant, which is a big plus for sensitive eye areas. I’ll plan to update this review in a couple of weeks to share how it performs over time, but for right now, I remain very hopeful and would consider a repurchase if the depuffing results follow!

I have genetic dark circles that get worse when I don’t get enough sleep. I’ve used tons of undereye creams and serums, mostly with middling results. I saw a lot of recommendations online for this one, and due to the low price, I decided to give it a shot. It seems to work okay on the dark circles — it’s not a miracle product, but I noticed a slight difference using it as directed in the morning and at night. However, there was one major issue: within a couple days of starting to use this product, my right eye started twitching at random throughout the day. At first, I didn’t connect the dots. I was in the middle of a busy workweek. I had to wake up much earlier than usual for work or appointments most days. I was also spending more time staring at my laptop screen between work and writing. I figured the twitching was a result of stress and all these other factors — until I decided to do some digging online. I found multiple Reddit threads of other people complaining about eye twitching while using this product. It has to do with the concentration of caffeine in it. (I only drink one cup of coffee a day and rarely have caffeinated sodas, so those weren’t an additional factor.) I discontinued use of this product immediately. The results weren’t good enough to put up with a twitching eye. I’m glad this serum was only $9 and I’m not out a ton of money. I know this product is beloved by a lot of people, but my advice is to proceed with caution.

I really like this eye serum! It’s lightweight, absorbs quickly, and doesn’t feel heavy or greasy around my eyes. I especially like using it in the morning because it helps my under-eye area look less puffy and more refreshed. You only need a small amount, so the bottle lasts a long time. It layers nicely with the rest of my skincare products too. Simple, affordable, and a great addition to my morning routine!

I love this stuff. I have puffy/baggy eyes -- partly genetic, partly getting older, partly due to weight loss (GLP-1 thank you!). Immediately when I put this on I can feel my skin tightening, and the puffiness/bagginess are less noticeable. It's visibly discernible. Very impressive! I can't tell that it helps with my dark circles -- something else I have unfortunately -- and I wouldn't get this if that's the primary concern you have. The product itself goes a long way. There's a lot to it. I find a small peppercorn's worth is enough for both eyes, under each eye and onto the orbital bone as well as around the side. The product has absolutely no smell -- completely scentless as far as I can tell. The product has an oiliness, and quickly dries, first becoming a bit tacky before drying completely. It's not advertised as being a moisturizer, nor would I trust it as such. I apply an under-eye cream afterwards (Brickell brand, but frankly any good brand would work). I have a small number of skincare products that I'll always use, and this is one of them. It worked right away. The price is right. Even if you're on the fence, since the price is so low, I'd try it out to see if it'll work for you.
