I had ordered some brass ones that claimed to be the right size and the leak still kept dripping. But one of these fit exactly, perfectly right. The tolerances were really nice. And the leak. stopped.

Perfect fit for the pvc pipe tee that holds the flow switch for pool salt cell when you remove it for winterizing.

My rain barrel came with an adaptor that leaked unless I sealed it shut with silicone, not vey useful when it came time to empty it to move. I decided to just complete replace it and these worked perfectly, plus I have extra incase the elements degrade it as it did with previous parts.

The thread is correct to fit the female end of a garden hose, but the hose connector is not deep enough for these to work as is--The washer in the hose end collides with the washer on this device. You could remove the hose washer, or remove the one on this device; in the latter case the two will mate if the hose has an o-ring washer but not if it has a flat washer. In either case of removing washers, I don't know how good a seal you get. In my case I don't need a pressure seal; I am just plugging the ends to keep out contamination during winter storage.

I bought these because I was tired of slugs being in the lines. They clog small holes up like sprinklers and hand held sprayers and are hard to clean. Using these over the winter or anytime you disconnect your hose and nothing crawls in. They seal well. Easy to turn. Close to the color of grass so they at least fit the look better than yellow.

I got these because the description said "Suitable for agriculture, lawn, garden, ... swimming pool spray cooling, irrigation," etc. They DO NOT fit on Garden Hose style threads. The attached photos are from a hose quick disconnect showing the thread difference.

Bought these to try and replace a missing threaded plug to attach a Droll Yankee feeder tray to a Droll Yankee hanging feeder. The 1/2 inch plug was a perfect fit! Works on all three of my DY feeders.
