I never read the reviews before purchasing these, I just thought they looked great and simply to clean. When I received them, I gave it to my 17month old with milk in, he dropped it on the floor and the lid came straight off and milk went all over the carpet (not what you want). However, after reading the reviews and thinking how crap they were, I discovered that when you put the lid on, you have to press the rubber lid down around the rim of the cup part. These have been great ever since and no more milk/water spillages. I would recommend them!! Also, it does actually show you on the instructions how to put the lid on right. But like most folk, they went in the bin, having never been read.

I have a 5 year old with autism who is very attached to his baby bottle at bedtime. But it's so hard to clean and I was worried that the hard plastic teat was affecting his teeth. I was really attracted by the washable straws on these bottle. Something I've not seen before and I have to say it's genius! Even with the best will in the world, the plastic ones get cruddy and even mouldy. My son loves the soft silicone straw and even though he wangs it about by the straw the lid miraculously stays put. I love how easy they are to clean and I don't have to worry about bacteria lurking anymore. Great little find.

I bought these bottles specifically because they're marketed as non spill. When the top is on properly, water doesn't spill. However, it can be quite hard to close the top properly. Water doesn't spill from the straw either. But, if water was drank from it, some water stays at the top of the straw and splashes you when you reopen it. The straw can be opened down the middle to be cleaned. But sometimes I've noticed it can open in the bottle, so I check it multiple times during the day to make sure it stays closed. The top is silicone and gets dirty easily. It would've been nice to have a lid on it to keep it clean. Might have to find a cover for it. If you're looking for a bottle that won't spill, this is definitely worth a try. Update: I've figured out how to close it properly every time. First you push it down then you twist until it's closed. Hope this helps! Update: these bottles get mouldy very easily. The inside and little inserts of the white straw and the blue straw part. Even the inside of the lid get mouldy. Pay particular attention to the top half of the blue part of the straw because I noticed even after checking it everyday I missed that part. I used a toothpick to get all or most of the mould off after giving it a scrub once because my bottle cleaning brush doesn't do a good enough job with the little crevices.

I really want to love these cups. They're really easy to clean and the straw opens up so it can be thoroughly scrubbed which is a great design. However, my 14 month old found it really easy to pull the top off by biting on the side of the lid and tugging it off; which isn't really that big of a problem but that could be made better. The biggest problem I found is that after a few weeks she had bitten through the silicone straw and the valve is tearing off too. They're a good idea but they didn't work for us.

I bought this for my one year old son thinking it would be a good idea, which it was for a week or so. At first it was leakproof, until he bit the straw a few times and ripped the thin valve. Now if he tries to put the bottle down and it ends up on its side rather than upright, there is a small puddle of water which drips out of the top of the straw. The straw itself is constantly detaching itself from the lid, so he gets so frustrated when he's trying to have some water but nothing is coming out. The silicone lid and straw get mouldy a lot quicker than on a standard plastic bottle, which defies the purpose of the straw opening up to clean it easily - I'm still having to use straw brushes for all the small harder to reach areas.

second purchase don't use any other bottles easy to use easy to clean. I don't use the straws that sit inside the bottles.

These bottles are a god send for us! My daughter who always refused all bottles, dummy's and sippy cups finally started to drink from these and they actually are non spill! Even when she throws it down on the floor, or shakes it upside down we've had no issues so far. (I think it's been around 6 months we've been using them) She has just figured out that if she squashes the straw some will come out, but it is a very small amount and I'm not going to blame the company for that because, it needs to be drunk from. There's not much they could do about this, kids are just kids! When we first got them the lids were a little stiff to get on, but it doesn't take long to figure out a technique for getting them on right. I also love the design of the straws for being able to get it thoroughly cleaned, and with both straw and lid being silicone it is very easy to get into every nook and cranny to clean everything properly. No more hours spent trying to scrub bottles clean or having to throw away and replace every month or so!

Very durable and function well, they do the job of protecting water from spilling.

Fijne bekers lekken niet. Maar je moet wel echt controleren dat de rietjes dicht zitten anders kunnen ze niet drinken. Oh en ze kunnen er mee schieten, het rietje richten en dan loslaten. Schijnt erg leuk te zijn als ze net gedronken hebben
