I bought this because I heard that single blade razors are better for ingrown hairs/razor bumps etc, but I was nervous because I tried a cheap safety blade in high school and could not stop nicking myself, especially around the knees..! but not with this beautiful invention!!! The razor is slightly weighted so you don’t have to apply any pressure, and its so easy to wash clean as you go so it doesn’t get clogged- and so you don’t miss a spot!! Also, NO NICKS! I didn’t bleed once and I even used it on my bikini area- I think because you don’t need to add any pressure. The online girlies were right, the single blade is so much better. My legs feel like BUTTER and I have no razor bumps or ingrown hairs. I’m so pleased to find a product so effective, I’m wondering if it will help my strawberry legs go away over time too. I will update if this happens! In the meantime, just happy to have such a clean close shave, and with less plastic too, which is a bonus.

This thing is so much better than a 5-blade in the sense that it gives you a much closer shave but BE!!! CAREFUL!!!!! It is VERY easy to slice yourself with this thing. You have to go a lot slower than with the average 5-blade women’s razor. I used it every where (yes, *there*) and it was going really well, and then I started on my ankle, got too confident and sliced it. It got a pretty good chunk of skin. Very ouch LOL So if you buy this, use caution. It’s a great razor, just go SLOW so you don’t slip like I did. Other than that, the quality is great. It was easy to put together and it works very well.

I really like this razor. It's affordable, a good close shave, has a solid feeling in the hand. HOWEVER. I have now sheered the head clean off the handle TWICE. I dropped it off my little shelf in my shower and bam, hit the floor and sheered the head off. Obviously I shouldn't be dropping my razor, but still. That's not exactly great durability. But I really like the razor, so do I buy a third like an idiot? Idk.

I was highly skeptical, but decided to give this type of razor a chance because of it's price and simplicity. I'm blown away by how well this product works. The razors are SHARP. So sharp, in fact, that in most cases I can barely feel the razor cutting the facial hair. Virtually no tugging. The moment a razor loses its sharpness, I have no hesitation to switch to a new blade given how inexpensive they are to replace. I found myself using other razors well beyond their intended life because I couldn't justify the cost of replacements.

Nice quality and weight to it. Although it does not cut, I tried getting different blades but nope, no cutting.

I’ve been using this razor for a little over a year now and trying to convince myself it’s decent when I tell you that every single time I use this thing I cut myself I’m not joking. This thing is literally equivalent to using a dollar tree, razor or like one of those super shitty razors that you get for super cheap that aren’t safe for your skin at all. Also, might I add that this starts resting super fast. You have to change the razor blade all the time. I’m someone with decently sensitive skin when it comes to shaving, but only on the bikini area and the actual cr0tch, but ever since I’ve used this thing I’ve been getting cuts all over my legs nonstop. I don’t know how this thing has any good reviews because it’s genuinely been tormenting me. I don’t know why it’s taking me this long to switch seeing as it’s this awful but seriously this thing sucks. Sometimes the cuts are so bad. I have to literally wear a Band-aid. I shave super carefully and slow slowly. I don’t rush through it with this thing whatsoever and even when I shave carefully and slowly I still get cut so just imagine if you’re trying to shave quickly, how many cuts you would have…. This product and it’s advertising is horrible. It is not at all a good recommendation with someone with sensitive skin.

I love this razor. There is a slight learning curve with how to use a safety razor compared to other commercial ones (think Venus with the Olay moisturizer bar, I used that one for probably 15 years). My skin hardly reacts when I shave these days. As long as you use a good quality shaving cream or gel, you will be all set! I highly recommend that women give a safety razor a try. It helps minimize razor bumps when you use shave cream beforehand. I also use a small amount of Hibiclens to prevent the bumps from forming. Works like a charm.

The enamel chips, but it doesn’t rust. In hindsight, I should have gotten the stainless one without the enamel because I don’t like the flaking but I really love the convenience of this razor and the cost savings have been worth it. There was a small learning curve as I was learning to shave without nicks with this single blade, but now it’s smooth sailing. It’s easy to use and change the blades and I completely understand why people used these religiously back in the day over the modern plastic blades

I have had this for over a year now, it has held up very well. You can use any standard blades when you run out of the ones that are provided. I find that this razor has prevented strawberry skin and is very easy to use as long as you are careful

I got this a few days ago, thinking it would be more eco friendly. I hated buying plastic disposable razors so this seemed perfect. I tried it straight out the box and the blade got dull after 3 swipes. Maybe I got a bad blade, but I was determined to make it work so I went to my local pharmacy to buy a box of Gillette double edge blades from the men's section, replaced the original with one and BOY CAN I SEE THE DIFFERENCE! Buttery smooth. Just came here to say I highly recommend this and if yours came with a dull blade, it's much cheaper to get replacement blades than to give up and buy a new pack of disposable razors.

Total Newbie here, I was petrified of using this but it's amazing! I asked my husband to help set the razor up as i was so scared of cutting myself on the blades - But once in the razor it feels safe. 1) The instructions state to go with the grain not against, so it is strange getting used to the new direction of shaving. 2) I kept it at 30' angle which is what the instructions state, and this worked really well. I didn't cut myself at all which is surprising for me! 3) It feels heavy but that gives the pressure needed to shave, you don't need to press hard at all. 4) It's stylish, comfortable, works perfectly and if you follow the above then you'll have no issues. 5) Unsure if this will remove my red bumps and lumps that I usually have on my legs but hopefully after consistent use this will improve. Enjoy - It's great! Would make a nice gift too. Well made and good quality.
