I've been using this for at least 10+ years. Use it nightly. Great product. Helps to see every bit of plaque, so I can get it all off with floss & pick & brushing. Have had radiation for cancer in my mouth area, which affected my teeth and made it very important to keep them very clean. I've had no problem with staining anything. It will wash off. If it's staining your teeth- that's plaque. Brush it or use a dental pick at the gum line to get it and the plaque out.
