These things are great! It was harder to get my old wheels off then these things on. No one tells you that part , you really got to put some oomph in to it to get your old wheels off. But once you do , these things glide on ice. On my hard wood floor they do anyway. They're so easy to put on , roll so smooth but sit a little higher than my old wheels , required minor adjustment to the chair. The base of my chair is chrome and the chrome on the wheels matches perfectly and really does look slick it's an awesome upgrade , subtle but very cool. CON: might roll too fast , I really have to put my foot down to stop now and sit down too fast and you'll glide clear across the room. If you're like me it might be worth getting the set with the breaks on them , they cost a bit more but I can see how they would be useful. But all in all definitely a good buy.

Aside from looking great, they feel amazing, almost like you are floating as you slide across the hardwood floor. The wheels don't make any noise at all and I can finally remove that ugly looking computer desk mat because this wheels don't seem to damage the floors. They were also easier to install than I thought, you will need some force to remove your current wheels. Note-The grey pladtic is a little darker than in the pictures but no big deal, they look and feel great.

I immediately bought these when I saw them listed as other shoppers' frequently added items. The color fits the gaming chair I bought and they work flawlessly. They roll smoothly and quietly. A simple push with my foot sends the chair coasting about 2 yards on my hardwood floor (bamboo if that somehow matters). I can change directions easily and when it comes in contact with a wire or cable, it will either roll over it or stop in its tracks. The cable will not get stuck in the wheel assembly. Do not underestimate this feeling. It works much better than the cheap plastic wheels you typically see on rolling chairs, which are noisy, scratch up the floor because they don't always roll, hard to change directions, and will totally get wires stuck between the wheels if you happen to roll over one. If you have the default plastic office chair wheels, this purchase is well worth it and will have a noticeable improvement on your quality of life. Or at least it will if you're like me and you sit in a chair in front your computer for 2-12 hours a day.

I purchased a Killabee gaming chair and put these wheels on it. I have Brazilian Cherry floors in my office and had started to damage the floor with my old chair. These wheels are smooth, quiet, and spin easy. They chair seems to glide across the floor now. there is absolutely zero resistance, no dragging, they spin on a dime. Im 290 pounds if any of you bigger guys are reading this, the bearings are holding up fine as of right now. im 30 days in and have found no signs of any issue. These casters were very easy to install on my new platinum-gray home office chair. I needed casters with a gray and/or aluminum color to match the new chair instead of the black carpet casters that came with the chair. Until now I never needed this kind of chair caster but with a wood floor these casters became necessary. So far, no scratches or dents in the wood floor and the chair glides easily although with a brief squeaky sound as the wheels start to pivot when moved. One aspect I noticed is these rubberized wheels (and probably others like them) will start to pick up dust or other particles from the floor whereas hard plastic chair wheels suited for carpeting generally don't.

I just got new hardwood floors and I didn't want to get one of those bamboo or wood chair mats. Found these and they are GREAT! I was concerned about going from the 2 rollers on each of my old black casters to the one clear one on the new ones by Opttico. The Opttico casters roll better than my original ones and are very smooth. They are also ver sturdy. I weigh over 250 lbs and the have not left one marl on my hardwood floor. They did add a little height to the chair but it's still within range of the adjustments and I can still sit at the height I want. I would recommend these to anyone.

I used these to replace the wheels on a vintage stool. Matching any modern hardware with something that was made 60 years ago proved quite frustrating (not the fault of this product), so my boyfriend welded the top of the caster(s) to the bottom of the legs(s) of the stool. They roll and glide and sweep me gracefully and effortlessly across our laminate wood floor: from desk to table to ironing board, and I am guessing that they would fit nicely to a modern chair, too. They leave not a trace of their passing, and are silent to my happy ears. Glad I did my research and got these, and hope this helps with your research, too!

I just got a SUPER heavy office chair for my desk which is located on carpet. I wanted to to roll rather than having to pick it up to move it every time. I bought these, swapped them for the pegs my chair had, and they're working well. Took me maybe... 30 seconds to install all 5 wheels, and another 10 years to lift my chair back right-side up. It now moves pretty easy, although I do have to push a little harder than my last chair to get around. I think that's due to the chairs weight though. I took a star off the review for the size of the wheels. I wish they were slightly smaller, as the size of them and roller blade style looks a little funky on the bottom of my nice fabric chair, BUT who's going to judge my chair wheels? No one. So I'll allow it. Overall, love them! They seem to work well on carpet with a lot of weight on top of them. They were easy to install and the silver metal/clear wheel combo looks good with my silver legs/grey fabric chair.

I have used this for a month now. No marks on my timber floors. Great product.
