I ordered a LOT of these fittings in various configurations. They seem to be reasonable quality on the camlock end but the fitting ends leave a lot to be desired. The female threads were so rough they galled onto the pump discharge flitting and I had to carefully cut then chisel the camlock fitting off then file the threads on my pump fitting true again. There was a lot of damage. I was using the correct thread, but some material peeled off the threads of the camlock and just ended up messing up threads then acting like a lock washer. I suspect buffing the threads on these camlocks with a wire wheel would prevent that problem. The barbed fittings are as cast finish on the barbed side and do NOT slide into hoses easily at all. I am going to run them on a wire wheel on my grinder and see if that helps. The casting quality looks fine and the camlock mating surfaces are finished brilliantly. Can't argue with the price either. I'll buy them again but clean them up before I use them for sure.

Works great as needed

Found out that some of my IBC totes come with a coarse thread valve, and some come with a fine thread. These worked perfectly. No leaks and the price was comparable to the plastic cam lock fittings. I found that the valves on many IBC totes are pretty recessed....which means its hard to use cam lock fittings without hitting the IBC tote cage. I was able to make it work with a bit of adjustment. Just a note for anyone wanting to use these with an IBC tote
