Star vs. the Forces of Evil Star and Marco's Guide to Mastering Every Dimension (Guide to Life)

When I ordered this book, the only available option was used. When it arrived, it was little frayed, and had obviously been around, but was still in pretty great condition overall. First let me just say, this is an awesome book for any svtfoe fans. It's stuffed with all sorts of useful and entertaining info about the characters, and feels like it was hand written (or.....tongue...written....in the case of Pony Head?) by them. The book even has little easter eggs and precursors to events that occur in the show (like a suspicious hand print that happens to be missing a finger, almost as if somebody got a hold of the book and was having a look on the sly...). But the thing that really got my attention was the inside cover. Immediately upon opening it, I noticed that (still can't believe this), it had signatures. A bunch of them. I'm still shocked, because it seems I managed to stumble upon a copy signed by most of the show's main minds and voices behind the show. If this is actually what it seems to be, I got unbelievably lucky, and I'm only ever going to order used books from now on.

If you own or have read Gravity Falls' "Dipper and Mabel's Guide To Mystery And Non Stop Fun", you should know that this is basically the same thing as that but with Star vs the Forces of Evil of course! It's a bit thicker than Dipper and Mabel's guide too. It’s has lots of new info and some cool activities to do! My only minor criticism is that just like in Dipper and Mabel's guide, Star and Marco's guide asks the reader to write, draw and even cut out certain pages, maybe the child SVTFOE fans would enjoy this but I personally don't, but then again maybe this is to be expected from guide to life books. Anyways considering that there's not much SVTFOE merchandise out there if you're a fan of star vs the forces of evil this is a must have! EDIT: I recently purchased the “Star and Marco’s guide to mastering every dimension stump day edition” from Barnes and Noble and even though it’s 99% of the same content from the regular edition, I’d also recommend the “stump day edition” to collectors like myself! They’re both great books!

At first glance I thought this book would be all about dimensions and how to master them, but it turned out to be way more than just that. Star and Marco's Guide to Mastering Every Dimension talks about every character in the show and their secrets, all the places we get to see throughout the episodes, the old queens, Star's clothes, some of Marco's karate moves, Princess Pony Head's real name(and guess what! She's got sisters!) and so much more you can see in this book! It also has contents that we never got to see in the show! Like Marco's recipe for the Marco's super awesome nachos, more old queens, and wanted posters! Also the answer of some questions you may or may not have been asking yourself. If you like/love Star vs The Forces of Evil, this book is a great thing for you. It's funny(I caught myself laughing out loud spontaneously while reading some chapters), it's colorful and so nice reading that I couldn't stop reading until I finished it. Anyway, you should have one for yourself.

If you love the show, you'll love this book. Lot's of neat information and whatnot that helps to further expand on the already fantastic world of Star vs. The Forces of Evil. Definitely some spoilery stuff in here, so maybe don't read it or get it for someone that hasn't seen both seasons of the show yet. That being said, it gives some stories and jokes from the entire series up until the last two episodes of Season 2. Nothing regarding the events in those last two episodes are in this book. Anyway, definitely worth the asking price. Would recommend to anyone that really enjoys the show. I'd even say that anyone that even just sorta kinda likes the show would like the book? Maybe? Iunno. Buy it.

I enjoyed the fact that the entire book keeps a sense of consistency and style that makes it feel like the dual-protagonists of the show (and the ever-rebellious Pony Head) are having a conversation with you. The book is filled with fun trivia (Star likes boba tea! Marco's initials are M.U.D. (poor guy).), explores the world of Mewni and the past of certain characters--things not expounded upon in the show--and holds a sense of consistency and continuity with events that already occurred within the show. However, there are some details within the book that bring about some continuity errors with the show, but that's really a nitpick from an avid fan of the series. Overall, the book is colorful, fun, and full of interesting content.

I was so afraid that the corners of my book would somehow get bent during shipping and I totally stressed about this during the four days it took to arrive. When I did get my book I was SO relieved to see that it was undamaged and that the packaging was quite secure. I was very happy with this purchase and I love the book. It's a very good read if you love this series! Note to the ebook edition: This edition seems to have an error on kindle's where it claims that the kindle has not been updated to latest update. My cousin couldn't get the ebook to work so she just read my hard copy. This was kind of a bummer and I hope it eventually gets fixed.

The book is pretty interesting, but an obvious cash grab for fellow fans who bought the 'Stump Day Edition,' which is EXACTLY the same but with the Stump Day lyrics and song notes, that's it.

Worth every penny; LOTS of new info on the series, fun to read, and it actually looks like a book written in a journal by two teenagers and a pony head! 10/10 would read again. And again. And probably skim for specific things after that. Definitely recommend it if you like the series, though. Plus it comes with a map of Mewni in the form of a poster, and on the other side of the map is the title splash image from season 2! Y'know, the one with Ludo, Moon, River, Star, Marco, and everyone else? Yeah, that one.

Un libro que cualquier fan de la serie disfrutará, es divertido y tiene muchos datos sobre los personajes. Además no contiene un inglés muy complicado, es fácil de leer si no eres un completo experto en el idioma. Es bastante colorido y lleno de dibujitos, un poco más de lo que me gustaría, pero bueno, se supone que es escrito por Star y está muy a su estilo.

Anfänglich hatte ich sorge wegen der Verarbeitung, ich muss aber gestehen das sich diese verflüchtigt haben nachdem es ankam! Das Buch ist wundervoll verarbeitet, wertiges Papier und liebevolle kleine Details! (um den Rand des Kraters befindet sich sogar eine durchsichtige Lackschicht mit glitzer darin!) Es beinhaltet viele neue Infos (toffee, das Magische Konzil, Moon, glossaryck und der Zauberstab!) und viele schon bekannte, großen Spaß hat man beim Lesen trotzdem da es den Anschein machen soll als wäre es von Star und Marco (und noch vielen anderen) geschrieben wodurch das ganze zu einer wilden Reise wird :) Übrigens bekommen Tomco fans auch einen kleinen Knochen zugeworfen (bin zwar Starco fan muss aber gestehen das ich es sehr witzig fand!) :P Was mich allerdings etwas verwunderte war dass das darin versprochene Poster zum rausschneiden ist was ich persönlich einfach nicht über's Herz bringen konnte ^^ Rund um kann ich es trotzdem nur jedem Fan empfehlen! Die Infos, der Witz und die ganze Verarbeitung sprechen meiner Meinung nach ganz klar für 5 Sterne :) Viel Spaß beim Lesen! ^^

Le compré este libro a una niña de 11 años, que es muy fan de esta serie y la verdad es que le ha encantado. Está escrito en inglés, pero casi mejor, ella ya lo va entendiendo y así practica también. El libro es del tamaño de un diario y está lleno de contenidos divertidos referentes a la serie en forma del típco diario escrito, con ilustraciones y fotos. La calidad de los materiales es muy buena, así que es una compra muy recomendable. Muy satisfecho :-)

As a poor guy( who doesn't has enough money to buy a nearly 100 dollar book plus shipping)I strongly recommend u to buy kindle version. Cause It's extremely cheap. And it has the Map of Mewni at the end so no worries.
