Do they prevent freezer burn?** A: While I did not use this in the freezer, I don't think it would be great in the freezer because it's not completely air-tight. I wrote a previous review that you might see -- basically, I don't recommend this product overall. Got bent easily, making it hard to open; heavy; small hands couldn't manage lid open-closing; the separators inside don't adequately separate the 4 compartments. Definitely not leakproof from one compartment to the next. For use outside the freezer, can't put "wet" things (e.g., cucumber slices) in one and dry things (e.g., crackers) in another. They fall off, the rubber o ring doesn’t hold and falls out. The older ones worked perfectly but these are not the same.
