TPM2.0 Module LPC 12Pin Module with Infineon SLB9665 for Gigabyte Motherboard Compatible with GC-TPM2.0_S

This was a great fit for my GIGABYTE Z790 AORUS ELITE X WIFI7 Rev 1.0. Completely compatible with the board, but you do need to have space at the bottom edge of the board making sure the solder joints do not touch any bare metal of the computer case.BIOS picked it up right away, but you do have to activate within the BIOS for it to function but you already know that :-)

Worked great. Plug it in. Enable it in the bios. You're all set. I did this to install windows 11. Installation went flawlessly after installing the TPM 2.0.

Works as expected with the Gigabyte B365M motherboard and now we can install Windows 11!Instructions for the B365M mobo:- Turn off PC- Remove case cover- Gently press chip onto motherboard TPM header- Replace case cover- Turn on PC and repeatedly press the Delete key to enter the BIOS setup.- Enter Advanced Mode by pressing the F2 key.- Navigate to the Settings tab at the top.- Select Miscellaneous from the left-hand menu.- For Intel processors: Find and select Intel Platform Trust Technology (PTT), then set it to Enabled.- For AMD processors: Find and select AMD CPU fTPM, then set it to Enabled.- Press F10 to save your changes and exit the BIOS. The system will restart with TPM 2.0 enabled.Enjoy!

Works as advertised in windows. Will work if used to upgrade an old windows 10 compiter to windows 11 due to its TPM requirement.

TLDR: Its a hardware TPM module, to get around AMD's horrible firmware TPM. It works for this just fine.-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------But, it is a finicky little expletive. When I was putting it into my x570 board it bent a bit and didn't even go in all the way. After it forced my bios to wipe forcing me to redo my memory timings I re-seated it and it started working. First 2 reboots are finicky, afterwards everything loaded just fine.Honestly this shouldn't even be necessary, it is a waste of money when fTPM exists, but since fTPM is broken and even AMD recommends hardware TPM here we are.Minus a star for build quality, but otherwise it gets the job done.

Bought this for my GIGABYTE TRX40 AORUS PRO WIFI (which it is listed for under the compatibility list)The reason I bought this was to get rid of the dreaded FTPM stutter that plagued it and it worked. (Some motherboards have a bios update to fix this, mine, at the current time of posting, does not.)After installing you need to disable FTPM for this work.You will need either this module or FTPM active to run windows 11 and some programs.

For me this literally did not work, gigabyte motherboard did not recognize it. I ensured it was plugged into the correct place and was a solid connection. The bios did not recognize it.

I bought this TPM for my computer simple to install you tweak a few settings and it works great

Pude instalar Windows 11 sin problemas.

I got this cause i didn't want to use my AMD built-in TPM. Works good and i was able to upgrade to windows 11 with no issues. Just be careful when you install the chip itself, i was trying to install it in the slot but the slot was right next to my GPU and i broke the first one cause i didn't remove my GPU so i powered down my tower and removed my GPU and then installed without breaking it.
