Excellent product - highly recommend if you want a low volume laserjet printer
This HP laserjet printer was easy to set up on my ipad using the HP App (which is required for set up). The machine prints quickly and quietly. Given its economical size, it is reasonably portable. It was a great purchase. I wanted a small laserjet, and they are hard to find. The paper tray holds about 25 pages.

Great So Far!
A new cartridge for my old LaserJet was almost what this one costs new. So, I ordered it, got an extra cartridge for much cheaper. It was very easy to setup. But, I am a bit of a techno geek. It works much faster than my older one. I have found not to like about this printer, so far. I had an HP P1102W, and it has been a workhorse, served me well, but had gotten slow, and cartridges are harder to find. I love having a black and white laserjet as a utilitarian printer for when you don’t need color. And, HP does it better in my opinion.

Perfect for my home need…
Not sure why, but it took 5/6 tries to setup the printer, using the HP app, and then a reboot of my wireless router before setup completion. 4 stars for the HP app & 5 stars ⭐️ to the printer for its compact size and SPEED of print!

Worse junk than the last one
I bought this HP printer to replace a previous printer that would no longer connect wirelessly, stopped scanning, and got erratic about feeding paper. The one prior to that had also gotten to the point it was erratic about feeding paper but it was about 9 years old so no serious complaint about that one. Since I also bought a color printer which scanned, I bought this basic printer. It will not connect wirelessly and it locks up print jobs. If I wait 10 minutes it will start the print job about half the time. The rest of the time I have to go in and try to pause, restart or cancel the job and usually shut off the print spooler. That works about half the time. The rest of the time I have to shut down the printer and the laptop and restart everything in order to clear the print job. And yes, I know how to set up a printer wirelessly - I've done it several times. Frankly I have been quite disappointed in HP products of late. I won't buy another and when I use up the print cartridges I have I will probably just junk this one and buy a competitor product. One star is too high a rating for this product. Edit to add that it not only was refusing to print again without a 20 minute fight, my other printer (HP8010) decided that it could no longer connect which took about a 1/2 hour of fooling with to rectify but then decided it wasn't going to allow the document feeder to work which I just gave up on. Definitely no more HP printers. Edit to add I just junked this one. The other HP printer decided it doesn't want to do a good job either. If this Epson I just bought only works half right it will HP beat all to hell.

Great printer, but the app could use some work
I like the compact size, the high print quality and the price point. If you’re using it on a Wi-Fi network like most people do it is easy to set up with no problems through the HP app but if you want to direct print for a place that does not have a Wi-Fi network the set up for that is not intuitive. It requires digging through menus to which there are no instructions on how to do so, finding a password (on mine it was a series of numbers in an advanced menu deep in the ap, not the one that was printed in the machine) I eventually fumbled my way through and figured it out. There are other users on forums online that had the same problem as me. I would say if you’re looking for an easy set up for something with an existing Wi-Fi network This is great. If you’re looking for direct print, it’s still a good printer but it’s going to take you a while to figure out that feature if you’re like me.

Works with both the newer ARM Processors and Intel flawlessly.
Just received this new printer. I have a Microsoft Surface Pro which is running an ARM processor and Windows 11. The drivers from HP installed and worked flawlessly. Tried a Cannon printer previously and would not work. The bonus is that this printer has a smaller footprint than the HP M12W.

Sweet,Simple and Prints Archival-Quality images In B&W...and Works With Windows 7 Pro!
For over a decade I used an HP 1010 Deskjet and ran the bejeebers out of it until it died (it received a decent funeral). This is a suitable replacement which ticks all the boxes PLUS if you download HP's "legacy" Windows 7 Pro HP Assistant, that software will also do all the tricky finesses needed to connect to your Fred Flintstone-autographed laptop. While only a B & W rig, the precise details of the printouts would meet the quality standard needed to print out archival-quality Ansel Adams reproduction. Not a bad deal for less than one would spend on the slot machines on a weekend getaway to the local reservation casino.

If you're on the fence, buy it!
Small, compact and prints super fast. The quality of the prints is excellent! I was hesitant because it doesn't have a scanner but the HP software has a phone app to use your phone as the scanner and it works really well. Bring monochrome is fine, too, because I didn't print in color and grayscale images are fine. I bought this because I seldomly print and was tired of having to buy ink cartridges each time I went to print. This has solved that perfectly and at a great price point. I always read the reviews prior to a purchase and all of the negative ones for this are unfounded. I had this setup in literally 5 minutes. There are no issues with Wi-Fi printing. If there are, it's with the Wi-Fi, not this printer. I highly recommend this printer!
