Its been almost three years since I bought this headlamp and I still use it. It the brightest light I have ever had. I'm a plumber so this thing gets banged around quite a bit. I just had to tie a knot in the elastic because it stretched but I would say at this point it should be stretched out. I would give 10 stars for this purchase if I could. If they are still selling this one I'm getting another one soon. You can't go wrong with buying this one in my opinion

I have had this light for almost two full years now in industrial settings. It's a fantastic light, though it can be somewhat hard to fashion onto your hard hat. I wish the button to turn on was mounted somewhere other than the back of the light, though it is something that I have gotten used to.It is very durable. I have dropped it, had stuff dropped on it, and smashed it against objects many many times. The lens is slightly loose in the housing now, but that is it. Everything else has held up well. As I don't run it constantly, battery life for me is very satisfactory. I have to charge it normally twice a month depending on usage. That said it does heat up quickly while in use, and it can take a while to charge.It is exceptionally bright and useful for trying to find minute details in something when light is necessity. The largest downside is the weight. I understand the durable nature might lend itself to something heavy, but it is noticeable especially when wearing for 8-12 hour days with only small breaks in between. When this one breaks, I am unsure if I will try to find a different brand or not. If nothing else it has done very well for the price I paid for it and held up in punishing conditions. I really wish it were lighter, but that might just be the trade off for durability.

My husband and I use these literally every single night as we're outdoors feeding animals. We've been using these for a few years now and this is our experience with them.Pros:Very bright, lights up a very large area and you can see pretty far even on the low setting. We were amazed when we first turned one on at night as our previous ones couldn't even compare. There's nothing better we could ask for in this regard.They last awhile, we bought our first pair in October of 2022. We each bought a new one as these stopped working, one in February of 2024 and one in July of 2024, both of which we're still using daily.They are waterproof. We have gotten them wet multiple times each while outside in the rain and haven't had any issues.Cons:The charge doesn't last very long. We use them maybe 30 minutes a night each, 95% of the time on the dimmest setting, and have to charge them every other day. 3 of the 4 we've bought have been like this. The one that worked right only had to be charged about once a week.The charging lights don't work correctly. There are 4 blue lights that are supposed to show you how much charge they have. Only on 1 headlamp did they work correctly. On the others they show a full charge, all 4 lights lit up, then they just die without any of the charge lights going out first.It's the same while charging them. The 1 worked correctly, it started out with 1 flashing light, then that light would stay lit while the 2nd light started flashing and so on. The others just have 3 lights lit and the 4th flashing, so we have to guess when they're fully charged.The zoom is actually great, it lets you see clearly for quite a bit further than the regular setting. It worked pretty well on our first set, though it was a little difficult to slide the section forward. On our new set you have to have herculean strength to get the pieces to slide to zoom, so I'm adding this to the cons list since it's hit and miss.We like this one, but are open to trying a different one the next time we need to order any.

I run on mountain trails every day, and I use this headlamp for part or all of many runs in the winter. It is on the heavier side, but it doesn't bother me at all due to the comfortable strap and even weight distribution. Here are the positives. This is the best headlamp for trail running that I have ever used.1. Very bright and wide when using the widest focus pointed ahead of the feet.2. The light is incredibly clear and consistent, which is important when running on rocky terrain.3. Very stable regardless of the angle used - no rattling or slipping.4. At the brightest setting, the battery lasts for my longest darkness in runs (1.5 hours), and has plenty of charge left after that. The dimmest setting would probably be bright enough for much of my running.5. In a pinch, I can take a charge cable if I forget to charge my phone for mileage tracking.6. Red safety LED on the back is quite bright.7. The focus (how wide the beam is) is very stable (doesn't change as I run).8. It's nice to be able to focus the beam to its smallest point to look far ahead on the trail (or try to spot animals in the distance).

My frustration with these bright lamps is the descriptions given, many which have conflicting information at to the battery life and brightness rating, both which tend to be exaggerated. After a lot of research I settled on this one, which gave a promise of good support. I was looking for brightness and long lasting operation. With three high amp batteries the seller promise 7 or 9 hours (two different ratings in different parts of the description) on the high setting and over 12 hours on the low setting. My first concern came when it took 14 hour to charge fully and should have only taken 4 or 5 hours.On testing the brightness was outstanding. The zoom worked smoothly as well. It seems to be well constructed, all metal construction for the lamp part. I do not like that the switch is right behind the lamp. I usually wear the lamp about one click tilted down so I do not have to move the lamp every time I want to turn it on, cycle the setting or turn off; this will be a deal breaker for many users. It is a heavier light also with the metal lamp and three larger batteries, but still felt comfortable.The battery housing is plastic and closes securely with good latches. There is an indicator for battery life, which is important. There is also a small button to cycle a rear light through a couple of different setting which would be good for bike riding at night, but that is not what I purchase this for.Testing under actual usage condition I found the light to run out in about 3 hours on a lower brightness setting from a full charge. The brightest setting is super bright but for only a very short time, less than an hour for sure before the light dims significantly. I did notice quite a few other comments about how short lived the battery life is on these. There were enough to conclude that if I got a replacement I would have a very good chance of having the same issue. I suspect bad battery quality being the problem. I need a long lasting light and decided to go with a different brand as a replacement that would have a better placed switch and more operation life. I returned this one as defective.I would not recommend this light if only because of the extremely short battery life. It's just not practical.
