This is a high quality product that should last years. As other reviews stated, it is a little large, but still fits my Pulaski axe, a vintage Tru Temper head from the 1930’s. I trimmed the excess length from the connecting strap and sealed the leather with Sno Seal and it looks and works great.

Believe it is real leather. Works well to keep the sharp edge protected and to protect you from the edge. The two pieces are connected by a central buckle that's adjustable to fit different axe sizes. The axe cover part is quite large (but too loose), so it'd fit larger sizes as well. Wouldn't be a bad idea to work in some leather conditioner/oil if you're going to be using it out in the elements regularly to keep the leather in good shape. Looks just like the picture.

This item fit my pulaski tool perfectly. It is constructed of thick leather and stiched with heavy guage thread. Critical points along the stiched edges are riveted for durability. One critical rivet near the beginning of a stitching line was completely missing. I debated sending this back for an exchange, but decided to keep the sheath rather than deal with the delay of replacement. If necessary, I will just add a rivet. Otherwise, build quality and fit appears excellent.

I wrote before this was very dry and drank up a whole lot of neatsfoot oil. It does cover my old time "Flint edge". I'll never use it, but now I wont cut myself with it in the house.

Great multi tool when used properly. Grub end for roots and rocks, axe end for chopping through logs and lopping off limbs on downed trees. I have use version of this tool for 45 years. Used for cleaning trail, digging water bars, or digging up stumps. Have cut through 12" logs when they fall across trails.

A little bigger that I expected and had to go down to the last hole in the strap. Overall, leather, stitching and riveting looks good. Needs a little leather conditioner but should last a long time.
