Make sure you coat both surfaces very well and wait Five minutes , I always wait a full five minutes. There is no pull apart and put back , It’s a one time so you must line it up and go for it. Also, you must work in a very ventilated area. I would not recommend brushing it on only for small little corners because it will saturate the material and that’s not what you want….. for the price of this material you cannot go wrong… ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Worked well for headliner but does dissipate smell slowly *by I***N on February 19, 2025* I sprayed with a spray gun also bought at Amazon. W-71G with 1.5mm nozzle. Do not thin the glue as it's already thin enough. I did over spray one section of the headliner material and indeed it did go through a little. If you have spare material, maybe do a test to see what is too much. A good video on YouTube by HumbleMechanic provides good tips. Price for this is excellent compared to Weldwood which is sold by the gallon. For my wagon, the quart was just enough.I'll update after a few months of Texas heat.Oh. And it's been 6 weeks and 8 can still slightly different the glue smell. It was very strong the first week, but only slight remnant of it. It should be gone in another month. I'll update if it doesn't. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Worked great for the headliner on my pickup *by E***W on September 16, 2024* I love that this comes in 1 quart containers instead of gallons. I used an inexpensive pneumatic paint sprayer with a 1.8mm tip to apply it (50 psi at the gun) and it worked wonderfully. The directions for most of these adhesives tell you to wait a few minutes before sticking down the headliner, I stuck mine down as fast as I could apply the adhesive. One of the most helpful tips I learned from YouTube videos was to apply the adhesive to the foam indirectly (at an angle) so the adhesive doesn’t soak into the headliner foam. It looked kinda “stringy” when I did that, but it stuck like gangbusters. You can spray the adhesive to the headliner board directly, and try to get an “orange peel” texture on the headliner board. Another tip was to let it sit overnight before trying to install the headliner, because the adhesive can still soak through the headliner foam if you’re pushing on it with finger pressure until it dries completely.. always try to use a “flat hand” when attaching the foam. This product does give you a limited ability to reposition the foam as long as you haven’t fully stuck it down. Work in small sections, with a helper if possible & you can get really good results. I had one very small wrinkle under the visor that I couldn’t get out, but I avoided about ten other wrinkles by repositioning and stretching the foam.
