I was struggling with persistent fleas in one of the rooms, and after trying multiple solutions, this product finally delivered real results—no more fleas! The powder is extremely fine and spreads easily, which is great for coverage but also makes it a bit of a hazard during application. I strongly recommend wearing gloves, a mask, and safety glasses. The dust goes airborne quickly and can irritate your eyes, throat, or skin if you’re not protected. That said, once it’s down and worked into the carpet, it gets the job done. Be prepared for some cleanup. It took over a week for the room to fully air out, and I had to vacuum multiple times to get all the residue out of the carpet. If you’re sensitive to smells or fine particles, keep that in mind and plan accordingly. Despite the extra effort, the value is solid—it covered a large room with ease and stopped the flea problem in its tracks. You can’t put a price on peace of mind, and this product really gave that back to me. My cat went out and came back almost infested with baby ticks. It doesn’t say it’s good for all ticks, it says brown dog ticks. Not sure what those are but I use it anyway. It looks like it’s mainly good for fleas. This is my second time ordering this. I put it in my rugs, chairs and couches. Basically anywhere he walks or sits. So far I haven’t found anything on my furniture after using this. I sprinkle this everywhere and let it sit for a few days before I vacuum it. It comes out like a grainy powder but not like sand. It doesn’t stain my couches, it’s easy to vacuum and remove by hand. The best thing is it smells so good, it smells like a carpet refresher. There’s no downside to using it. Just don’t sprinkle it on your pet as my husband wanted to do lol. They’ll lick it off and get sick, I’m assuming.

This PETARMOR carpet powder for fleas makes the fleas more manageable in certain areas. I was able to sprinkle it on affected areas (areas where my dogs like to lay down). I let it stay on the area for the recommended amount of time. However, this is where you lost stars with me. It did not kill the fleas in that area. I’m not sure about the eggs but I know there certainly were fleas. Then I said, “well maybe these are new fleas.” We did the entire bedroom with 1 1/2 containers of the powder, brushed it in so the powder could get all the way in the fibers and let it sit OVERNIGHT. After 24 hour time period, the fleas were a little more manageable but not dead. And some didn’t even appear sick… like they were SUPER-fleas or something. The powder concept is great but not as effective as the spray. I recommend this for pet beds as you could make a more concentrated solution on a smaller area.
