HYJLPAF Ear Piercing Kit, 4 Pack Self Piercing Gun with 5mm Earring Studs

My daughter wanted her ears pierced for her birthday, but all the nearby Claire's stores got poor reviews for ear pricing, and I didn't really want to take my little girl into a piercing studio. Plus the cost to get them done somewhere started at $50 and that was at places that had bad reviews. I couldn't believe it when I saw so many at home kits for less than $15 with multiple kits. I was really skeptical. I didn't want to skimp on something like this and end up with major regrets. My daughter's aunt is a PA, so I talked to her about concerns with infection and sensitivity, and she said these kits are basically what places like Clare's, etc use. So I looked at ALL the kits for a set that had earrings my daughter would like enough to wear for the first 6-8 weeks and that stated they were sergical stainless steel so that she wouldn't develop an allergy to certain metals, and these were the best option I could find. In the end, I was roped in to be the test subject before my daughter got hers pierced since there were 4 kits. It definitely hurt a little, but the pain went away quickly. We had an adult on each side doing both ears at the same time. My husband, who knows nothing about eat piercing was one of them, and he had no issues using the device. When it was my daughter's turn, she did ok until I asked her how it felt and as she said it felt like a big pinch not a little pinch she started crying. But as soon as she saw the earrings in the mirror the tears turned into a smile. While there might have been fun in going to get it done in a place that sold jewelry, it might have been hard for my daughter to not want to change the earrings out right away seeing all the fun options. We will go do a bit of earring shopping together after our first 6-8 weeks. And it was nice to do it from there comfort of home with family. Her dad and her aunt had the honors of piercing her ears with this kit while knowing everything was sterile as well. Since then, we haven't been touching our ears except to wash them once a day with mild, unscented soap (we were told by the PA not to use hydrogen peroxide or rubbing alcohol or anything like that unless we developed an infection since it's very drying and can cause irritation) and spin the earrings once so the skin doesn't grow over the metal. My ears haven't had any issues at all and it's been 5 days. My daughter's turned a bit red for the first couple hours, but she said they didn't hurt, and it went away in less than a day and they've been fine since then. One thing we didn't consider was that we were planning a lake trip for her birthday, and after piercings you should wait at least 3 weeks to submerge them in either lake or pool water since that can cause serious infections. But she agreed she wouldn't put her head underwater and I got her a cute shower cap to cover her ears from splashes. We are very happy with our purchase!

Worked great on my ears and didn't leave the infected. I can only use certain earrings in my ears bc they are super sensitive but these were fine

Honestly, I was very impressed with this product! It’s somewhat easy to use, I am not the most coordinated person in the world, so it toke me a little time to make sure I was doing it correctly. The hardest part is the make sure the needle goes straight… That’s was the hardest part for me. But i managed to get 3 holes right. If you have someone to help you, sure it would be better, but if I did it, you can do it too! 1000% painless and it has been about 2 months, no problems at all. I will get another one in a few months, to finish my unfinished job. :)

This piercing kit was incredibly easy to use and came with everything needed for a quick and clean piercing experience. Each kit was individually packaged, which gave me confidence in its cleanliness and safety. The earrings are cute, and the piercing process was fast with very little discomfort. Great value for the money!

Lit such a good peircing kit i peirced my secound hole and didnt hurt at all barely felt it but the third hole had a kick to it hurT like a high 7 out of 10 second seconds hole only hurted like a 3 out of 10 overall peircing kit went in smoothly except for the third hole i hesitated a little becuse it started to hurt buttttt id say the healing process pain is a definite 10/10 any ear peircing u get wether perfesional or at home the healing process will hurt so bad i have a septum and my belly peirced and a smilly before i can say my ears r by far the painfulest one on healing almost took it out on the secound day its starting to hurt a little less by the day but deff be prepared to not be able to sleep comfortably for abt a week when getting ur ears peirced and thats why i held off for so long on piercing my second hole nd third overall experience a 7/10

Within 10 minutes of getting my HYLPAF Ear Piercing Kit, I'm golden! Asked my housekeeper to do me a solid? To reopen an existing,25 year old unused piercing. She declined,so I stepped up,on me! Ain't no thing! The existing hole opened without an issue. One of four units bought and delivered by Amazon. Three more profesionally sealed kits piercing to use. If I can do the piercing myself, so can you. I used my own alcohol swabs and kept all the usable 3 kits bagged for keeping these kits together. Swab both sides of the area you choose. Let dry. Put a dot where you want to pierce. Fully press together the existing kit, with the parts already in place which are meant to be in place until the piercing heals. Don't forget to twist the stud, with the faux rock, which is preset so the procedure is handled so much. Let the hole heal ,then put a stud and backstop of your choice. Having a new piercing can also become something easily snagged and that can become an issue. Stay focused and enjoy your new piercing. ...and make sure your personal piercing of choice is top notch! Not something which can become a problem for being a toxic metal....👋🤗🫵......😎🇺🇲 P.S. I'll be updating with a picture of my personal rock,when the piercing heals.

I’m super happy with this piercing kit. I used it to re-pierce my second ear piercings which had grown over years ago. There are 4 individually packaged, sterile, single-use piercers that are ready to go. You just have to clean your hands, alcohol wipe your ear, mark the spot, and click it in! I hardly felt it at all, almost no pain. The piercer inserts and closes the earring for you, and it only goes so far when you press it, so you don’t have to worry about overdoing it. Just press it firmly until it stops, then pull away the little plastic pieces on the front. Super easy and clean, and my sensitive ears haven’t been irritated at all by the jewelry. They are healing perfectly (I use saline daily and avoid touching them) and they look great. The earring backings are quite pointy, so you might find them annoying if you are a side sleeper. But they honestly haven’t bothered me at all. The earrings are slightly bigger and bulkier than I’d like, but they look pretty. Keep in mind that the earring size is pretty big, so depending on the ear location you choose it might be slightly bulky. It’s such great value though, and I’m happy with the whole process, so it doesn’t take away from my rating. This kit is an easy and cost-effective way for me to get a new pair of piercings. I’m super happy with the quality and results.

These are perfect, easy to use. I barely had to push for these to pierce my ears. I think the biggest risk for infection is your dirty hands touching/fiddling with the new piercing, which will happen even if you go get pierced professionally. I am prone to infections/allergic reactions and I had ZERO issues. I washed my hands, and also used the alcohol swab to gently wipe the post of the earring before piercing just in case. I then sprayed (NOT SOAKED) the front and back of my piercings with saline water for 3 weeks 1-2 times a day and made sure they were dry with paper towel/gentle fan after. DO NOT TWIST OR TURN THE NEW PIERCING - this is an old school method and re-traumatizes the fresh wound which prevents healing and promotes infection. If you keep your hands away, are careful and keep it clean, you’ll be good to go. (This includes keeping pillow cases clean, avoid sleeping directly on them in the early stages, and avoid any hair/shower products soaking on your ears). Also avoid changing piercings for 4-6 weeks or until healing is complete! I am not a professional piercer but I did a lot of research before buying these. I also would recommend removing other piercings to prevent bacteria exchange and extra weight on the healing lobe!

I should start off by saying you probably shouldn’t pierce your own ears at home with one of these things. BUT if you’re going to anyways, this one is probably good to use. I did it on myself, and it was really easy, didn’t hurt too bad, and no infection. It’s been almost a year and my ears healed perfectly.

They are so cute, have had them in for a week now. The pain was lowkey bad for the first one but it was worth it, maybe I just have a low pain tolerance.

These earrings were quick and just a little pinch for only a second. I was going to go somewhere to get them done but there is no reason for that now. The only reason I gave it 4 stars instead of 5 is because one of the backs was missing. Amazon made it right though and im very glad I bought these. Also the studs are a great size
