It’s pretty good ,feels cheap but operates the way it it’s advertised just can’t move the bay while hardrive spinning cause files won’t go through, best feature I think this has that a lot of hd bay don’t have a ide a slot but this one does and it can move the molex port left to right only had it for a week

I have 2 external drives that failed on me. After opening their cases I discovered that the circuit boards had fried. Hoping the drivers themselves were still good I tried this dock. It worked with no issues and the drives were recognized by my PC. There is a slight delay, no more than ten seconds when accessing the drives. But once opened videos and music work without freezing. I did put a dust cover over the unused slots to protect them.

I'm happy with this docking station as it's adds convenience with accessing IDE and SATA without having to open the desktop case to add and remove drives. It even managed to read a drive I thought was dead, that was a happy day, still able to use the drive. And having all the other ports for different card formats on the front is a plus for older formats, many which has gone bye-bye. Tech moves so fast. The reason for the four stars is the sliding Molex plug in the station, to me it seems that this could be a weak point if the contacts fail. IIRC this is also a USB 1.0 and 2.0, not a 3.0 so your R/W speeds will be slower. Make sure to match your desire USB speeds to your device.

Pretty old stock...really made for windows 2000 and vista era. It does what it was supposed to do, but slow. Has no C USB. The little page manual is better read by microscope.

I have a lot of old IDE drives 2.5 and 3.5. Some work while others not so much. I've been in IT for over 30+ years so having a tool such as this is awesome for copying data from old drives. Reads Sata drives as well. Not really a fan of those cables that have connections built into them. So far its read every IDE or Sata drive I've connected to it.

If you're into PC repair as a hobby or for pay (like me), this is a great investment because it allows you to work on 3 drives without tearing open a machine to repair any issues.

VSVABEFV the 2 Sata bays are working fine .. the CompactFlash slot - a pin got bent over & straighten attempt it broke off - so black taped over slot .. the only other slot I've try'd is the USB & works fine .. NOW the IDE port full size & laptop > Very Disappointed as I've try'd lots of drive brands (read the WesternDigital warnings - my primary oldies) Can't get a recognition either size - had to hold the laptop size down as it wanted to keep pop'g out ... anyway at the price point I'm happy enough to not go thru a return nightmare ... the ORICO 5 bay docking station (got at the same time) Sata Only > Very Happy with ... the MEGATEC CD DVD USB player Very Happy with

Buen producto cumple con sus funciones, lo reconoció la PC sin problemas y todos los puertos funcionaron bien. Llegó bien empacado y la empresa siempre estuvo en contacto. Lo único que me gustaría es que el plástico fuera de mejor calidad no tan frágil. Solo falta probar la función de clonación.

The product is simply in design.. Instructions could...no should be a LOT betterwritten in English. Its first job was to clone a drive... Well is bricked both drives. Not a satisfied customer

Práctico de ysar

Lo acabo de abrir y probé en dos computadoras diferentes con S. O. diferentes. Probé Tarjetas SD, Discos IDE y USB. No reconoce a las unidades IDE ni SD. La memoria USB la reconoce rara vez y automáticamente se desconecta y la unidad de almacenamiento lógica desaparece. No es fácil de administrar. Hay que abrir un sub menú para accesar a las unidades de almacenamiento lógicas. No se detecta como una unidad de disco duro independiente y además no tarda muchos segundos en desconectarse y dejar de responder en Windows. HIce la devolución y el envío desde el 9 de marzo desde USA usando FEDEX. Hasta la fecha no tengo el reembolso respectivo.
