I was a little concerned about buying these because of the price. How good could they be for that price? Pretty darn good. Diamond hones are very aggressive. The diamonds are sharp and hard and they do not move. The result is material is removed quickly. Even as these high grind level gentle pressure is all that's needed. As far as flexing. I wouldn't worry about it. I mean don't try to bend them because they will bend and never be the same, but with normal use they work just fine. Just put them on a solid surface when in use. ... lets see where are those kitchen knives again....

Overall they work. Cost was low which was good. They are very thin and almost impossible to hold so you have to set them on something that can hold them in place. Do they cut steel knife blades (Sharpen knives) YES. But I'm not sure they are marked properly for grit size. That and the fact that they are only .040 of an inch thick is why I didn't give top stars.

Sharpening stone does it’s job just fine

These plates are ok, but you have to use them on a hard surface as they are thin and flex a bit more than others. They also are not marked very well and after a few uses they will loose their grit markings. I went an engraved them on the back of the plate with the grit size. I would look for ones with a thicker backing. The width and length are adequate for plane sharpening

I was skeptical based on the price, but glad I took the risk. These work really well, put an edge on quickly and easy to clean after. I've had them for about three months and use them to sharpen my chisels and plane blades. Still going strong. Way cheaper than using sandpaper.

Fine grit plates are coarser than comparable grit on more expensive plates. The 3K plate is about the same grit as my $100 more expensive plates..As long as you know that, you are fine

I have been able to use these for knives, chisels, and planer blades. I made a small plywood sheet with a stop block on the bottom to hold fast against my bench and another on the top on the opposite end to keep the hones from moving. They work great. I use honing oil or ATF as a honing oil and get a great result.

Excellent value for money just make a sharpening plate like “Paul Sellers” on YouTube and your away.

Product is great however when you order this, let me remind you that there is no non slip on the other side only 1 side is coated with diamond

I have a TSPROF ko3 and the first time i used them WOW , polished and soooo sharp a cheap knife will cut FOG !!!!!!
