How do you know if toothpaste is sls free? i've been told that sensodyne doesn't have it. when i look for ingredients i only see active ingredients.

Yes it is SLS free. SLS means sodium lauryl sulfate, a compound some people are allergic to, I’m allergic to SLS and have gotten hives and lip peeling due to using toothpaste with SLS in it.

When I unscrewed the cap, they did not have a little plastic sealer covering the tip. Should I continue to use?

None of mine have had the seal. I use them anyway. Not sure toothpaste has those seals anymore, anyway?

It is a pretty blue/green paste, very tingley and fresh tasting.
