I find that this is a fantastic Bible for any student who wants to grow as a student of God's word and dig deeper than the simple words on the pages. The Bible includes intros to each book, outlines of the book, commentary throughout, a concordance, maps and more. So much in a great and compact package. Some of the larger study bibles can get a little bulky in the hand but this does not have that problem. You might be wondering whether to get an ESV study Bible or the student study Bible. For the price, the student study Bible is exceptional and includes many of the marks of the more expensive study Bibles that crossway offers. When, comparing the commentary notes, all of the markers of the more expensive Bible are present in this Bible even includes additional information on particular characters and individuals of the Bible. I wish the more expensive ESV study Bible had those character notes as well. I have compared this Bible with several other study Bibles in the pursuit of the best one to hand off to people who I sincerely care about. I would highly recommend this book right here. You cannot beat the price, the binding is some of the best you can find, and the overall feel of the Bible is exceptional. Whether this is for yourself or a gift for someone else, you will feel the value in your hand. Review: Great gift idea - I really like the ESV translation. One of the best student bibles
I am a pastor that works primarily with middle school, high school, and young adult students. I find that this is a fantastic Bible for any student who wants to grow as a student of God's word and dig deeper than the simple words on the pages. Great gift idea
I really like the ESV translation. I bought a couple of the Study Bibles as gifts for my younger family members. I think they are a great learning tool for young believers as they journey through the scripture.

Love everything about this Bible! It is very well made and has lots of good notes with each book of the Bible.

Convenient Size Study Bible for the Young Reader
Every person should have a Bible of his or her own. Among her things I found the personal Bible of my grandmother, It was in King James English, but it served her throughout her life. This one is for my granddaughter, much easier to read, and is annotated with helpful descriptions to give the reader the historical context of when and where the original texts were written.

Nearly Perfect
Pretty Good. There isn't much ghosting of the pages. The print is a little small but okay for my needs. The pages are great as far as thickness. The notes are good and there's a couple of nice illustrations. There are some good articles in the back. The cover is a bit in the stiff side and the it's not a red letter edition. Overall I'm very happy for the price.

Bought one for each of my granddaughters because they were both baptized at the same time Paul Tripp is one of my favorite Christian writers and this ESV version is great!

Beautiful study Bible
This Bible works great for students! This was a reasonable price as well and the leather is very good! Definitely recommend to those looking for a good study Bible!

All the extras maps description of the areas and the times in which it takes place.
This is the first bible that was easy for me to read but still relevant to it's time. The notes and explanations are remarkable. You are not just reading the Bible, you are understanding it. I truly love it. It helps stay on the christian walk. Jesus is the way 🙌

Font point size
For those who are asking about the text size, it's an 8 point size, which is about a standard print. It's pretty compact, but if you have bad eyesight, or want to read for an extended period of time, I will recommend a larger print version with about 10.5/11pt font size. That one will be more expensive and bulkier, but that one might be better if you want the larger print.

Excellent student study bible
This is a great starter student study bible with great notes and good maps, charts and diagrams. The font typeface is clear, though cross reference details are small. A lot is packed into this bible which is not on the fat side given the content. Thoroughly recommended! Proverbs 16:3

ESV Student Study Bible—the one I’ve been using lately, and honestly, it’s pretty solid. If you're looking for a Bible that breaks things down in a way that actually makes sense without dumbing anything down, this might be the one for you. If you want a study Bible that’s easy to use, packed with solid insights, and actually helps you understand Scripture, the ESV Student Study Bible is a great choice. I’d definitely recommend it.
