Very good hold on my tight 3b/4a curl pattern. It's a medium liquid gel - easy to control and apply. I use the "praying hands-and-scrunch" methods. It's not the thick glob type of gel. As per instructions, I applied to soaking wet hair. To refresh the curls, I just spritzed dry hair with a water bottle. The spritzing reactivated the gel and I didn't need to add any extra product in general. Sometimes on Day 2 or 3, I'd need to add a bit of CurlKeeper because of outdoor humidity, rain or snow. The product dries clear; there was no white flaking whatsoever. This is a very nice styling product to keep in my styling /refreshing arsenal.

This is the ultimate the bomb dot com product!!!! I've seen many people on YouTube trying this product out. Which I found after I seen it here on Amazon first. I really like to do my homework per say when I find something that intrigues me or looks to be an ideal product for my particular needs. Now with that being said , I've also noticed many people misrepresenting the product calling it a hair gel. It is called The Original.. It is a very good product with a very light sort of hold but not a sticky residue gel feel or really gel results. It's very thin in consistancy. I personally have to use a hair gel or hair cream with this product because I need more hold. The Curly hair Solutions Curl Keeper Original is for frizz control trust me it definitely works for anyome who is looking to have Beautiful, Amazing,frizz free head of hair. FOR DAYS!! This product is the real deal. It isn't counterfeit as I've seen some other reviews saying that it isn't real. It is 100% REAL!! It is a water based product. Which allows you to reactivate next day hair with just some spritz of water from your favorite water bottle a little bit of scrunching or whatever way works best for you & your personal hair style then like magic, WALLAH!! A beautiful shiny fizz free bouncy curly head of hair!! Oh yeah & it will NOT I repeat NOT leave you with crunchy or ramon noodle curls. Nope nada it will leave you with a head of soft bouncy shiny beautiful curls that everyone will want to put their hands in. ( I know trust me, it's certainly a nice compliment. Yet can become a bit overwhelming, like hands to yourself folks) Lol. This product Hasnt let me down since the very first time I've used it. A matter of fact I am a product junkie. I have so many hair products & I've purchased this one more than once. I have not purchased something more than once in years & i am 47 years young. Lol!!! I have been using CHS Curl Keeper for several years. My hair is Type 2 A/B on top and 3A on the rest. The individual hairs are fine, but I have a LOT of it, and it turned white when I was a teenager so it is color treated. I use CK as part of a cocktail including a hard hold gel and a curl activator. What makes it different is that it is not a fussy product - I cannot use too much of it. It never flakes and all I have to do to eliminate the crunchy cast is scrunch it out, then my hair is soft, defined, shiny (without looking wet) and frizz-free. It has also never made my scalp itch..lots of other products do. The only thing I could criticize is that it has the potential to be ever so slightly drying, however, this isn’t a problem with proper conditioning beforehand and if needed, a leave-in conditioner. This is not a gel that’s meant to provide hold - it has none. It has a watery consistency (like KY lube-also a dupe for this gel) and can be used alone or as a companion to gel and curl cream. It plays nicely with any other product you throw into the mix. It is not heavy, greasy, sticky or producty - once dry, you cannot feel it in your hair. I swear by this product and would go so far as calling it holy grail. I have tried MANY other things over the years but have failed to find anything that keeps the shrub on my head under control. What’s more is that it is designed for ALL curl types, 2-4...and it’s silicone free so it is Curly Girl Method approved.

I have fine, curly, thin 70 year old hair! I love how this adds some volume and really defines my curls. My hair curls great in humidity but is just wavy in dryer climates, like my home. Curl Bond makes my hair consistently curly between twice a week washes. It even reactivates my flat hair after sleep if I run my wet hands through dry hair. Love this stuff.

I absolutely love this product. I have bought 3 bottles. It does amazing things to my hair. It is a bit pricey. I was put off at first but decided to take a chance. I have very dry poofy hair at times and have to use multiple products to tame it, and by the end of my shift I look like I’ve been running a marathon. When I got this I only had to use this. It holds my hair, makes my natural curls amazing, and my hair doesn’t frizzy at all. I’m a CNA, so I usually run around like a chicken with my head cut off. I use a fair amount, let it air dry and it feels crunchy at first, but when I scrunch it after it’s dried, my curls turn soft and they still hold the curl with no frizz. A coworker of mine has the same hair type, I got her to buy it and she loves it as well. One other problem I had was that I wasn’t able to have the bigger size bottle sent to my address which is weird because I could get two of the smaller sized ones sent. Can you fix this? Idk why it did that but I’d like to purchase the bigger bottles in the future. Over all, 100% satisfied and this is now my go-to.

I bought this when I ran out of my Tre’ Luxe thinking it would be similar. NOT! My hair was frizzy, not curly. This product is loaded with bad chemicals: VO/VA copilymer, propylene glycol, hydroxyethelglucose, glycerin, oleth-20, fragrance, polyquatermium-10, etc. items I can barely pronounce and definitely don’t want them in my hair or on my skin! It comes with warnings about eye contact. Why risk putting this on your body!

Lost a quarter of the product because it was not packaged appropriately. The pump was not in the “locked” position, and there was no tape or plastic covering the top to prevent leaks.

La botella es enorme, es suficiente cantidad del producto para varios meses, aunque hay que usar mucho, como lo indican las instrucciones. Hasta ahora me ha funcionado bien, mi cabello es 3A/3B y aunque no me encanta cómo queda, es lo único que me ha funcionado desde que descontinuaron el gel que usaba, no tengo frizz y los rizos se quedan en su lugar. No me ha servido para más de un día, no se mantienen los rizos. Es recomendable usar vinagre para balancear el PH después de usarlo un tiempo, porque se va quedando en el cabello algún residuo y humectar con algún tratamiento, porque mientras más sano esté el cabello, este producto funciona mejor. Espero poder adquirir más y que se venda toda la línea de la marca.

I have used this product for close to 10 years. I love it and frequently recommend to friends and colleagues with curly hair. What I like best about it is it allows me to wash my hair less frequently. Those with shorter curly hair, who dreads the morning "bed head" with curls sitting on one side of your head. The morning hair that forces you to wash your hair, or minimally wet and condition it so it will look decent until you sleep again. A quarter sized amount in the palm of your hand after being freshly washed is all you need. Wake up with "bed head" simply spritz with water (I purchased my spritzer bottle from Amazon as well) and finger style your hair. I can even go from flat iron straight back to my curly locks, it does, however; take a bit more water. Finally this is the forth bottle I have purchased in the close to 10 years I have been using this product. I use it every time I wash my hair (weekly). So economically it is a fabulous product. BTW the product was recommended to me by "The Curly Hair Institute" in Toronto.

First I received the pack open and one of the bottle open too and some of the product was spilled ! the bottle are very big didn't expect that much, I wish if the product was more effective I used to curly my hair and got lovely curl with cheaper product and I wanted to try out this one but this product doesn't give me the define curls like I used to have with other products -Maybe I do not know how to used it properly- For the result it gave me, I think it way too expensive

Es lo único que me funciona en clima de casi 100% humedad, como en costa o en lugares donde siempre llueve todo el día. Lo uso sin crema o leave-in previo, para evitar el frizz. Es perfecto y es limpio para el método Curly Girl.

Es un buen producto, y dura bastante, se debe poner lo estrictamente necesario o de lo contrario el cabello se pone duro y poco flexible. Aunque no es grado como las cremas de peinar y no deja el pelo pesado marca muy bien los rizos.
