My old plug stopper was showing its age. I must have used something corrosive at some point as it was becoming quite pitted. This new one has renewed the look of the basin. Wish I'd replaced the old one months ago.

Good value replacement

I purchased this item as a replacement for a bathroom washbasin click clack plug that had become discoloured and tarnished. The push close/push open device is very easy to install. I have replaced it before. It merely unscrews from the internal of the waste body and the brass body simply screws in, the chrome top the screws onto the brass spigot. After installing the whole assembly I found that the device would not disengage to pop up.It was simply jammed up. I dismantled and cleaned the old existing brass body reassembled it and used that. Luckily I only needed to replace the chrome plug part otherwise I would have to have replaced the whole assembly again.To be fair the item was relatively cheap and ok for me as I could use part of the old existing assembly. A nuisance if you had to replace both parts and one part was faulty.Not the end of the world just my luck to get something that was duff.Keep smiling, I do!
