I purchased this book as a Shakespeare lover and was looking forward to reading it, but I also wanted to use it as decor since the cover was so beautiful. You can only imagine how disappointed I was upon receiving it when I realized that the front page was full black with no image at all. The only "pretty" part is the spine, which is nice but not what I expected...

Has an excellent introduction. Sets out the sonnets in what is conjectured as their order of composition. For the student wishing to construe the meaning of a particular sonnet, it provides glosses. It also contains excerpts from the plays which have the sonnet form. Therefore, it is a very thorough edition of all of the sonnets and is extremely useful.
