I came across an ad for an acupressure mat and it intrigued me and thought I would give this one on Amazon a go. I am a little iffy on the science but believe the sharp points cause the body to release endorphins. I have been using as I have pictured for 15 minutes or so before bed with the pillow under my neck, the holster under shoulder blades, and either resting my feet in the small pad or just laying flat so on my calves. It is pretty intense for the first five minutes but then the pain eases away and relaxation sets in. I listen to some meditation music and breathe deeply through my nose with exhales twice as long as inhales. Seems to help with sleep and I’m guessing with circulation, digestion, etc. if you enjoy meditating this might be worth a try.

I Love This set!!! I get neurological pain and discomfort. The worst part is that when it gets so bad, that no matter what I do, I cannot stop the sensations, and I am not able to rest or sleep. It feels like I have something on/in me that I need to rearrange or remove, but there is nothing there to remove. It’s extremely frustrating, to say the least. I Found Help!!!🎉 Now when I start to get these sensations again, I right away use this set in different combinations throughout my day and then I am able to sleep at night peacefully. Hallelujah! I love the quality & the design. Between the different sizes of main mat, the small mat, the lumbar pillow and the neck roll, I can arrange in any combination, sitting, laying on back, on side with legs up in sofa, on floor, on chair, on sofa, etc. making it super functional & adjustable, a perfect tool! It’s nice and thick and hasn’t gotten matted down like other cheaply made ones do. I am very pleased with this purchase and I recommend it to anyone looking for pain & neurological relief. I will post my pictures later when I find them in my camera roll. LOL!

The rosettes are solid plastic, not flexible silicone like other brands. There is no noticeable fragrance beyond it being clean and new. The XL set comes with a carrying bag, long body mat, short feet/leg mat, rectangular head/lumbar pillow, and thin lumbar support roll. I have a narrow build, so I turn the short mat longways and use it under my thighs&calves to extend the area of use with the long body mat. The shorter mat can also be used in an office chair. The head pillow has an adjustable strap on the back which makes it convertible as an office chair lumbar pillow. The covers are removable for easy hand washing and hang drying. The carry bag fits all items. Combined, it weighs approx. 5lbs. I blindly tested 4 mats. I did like this one. It was well-made and very durable. The fabric and spikes material quality were much appreciated. The main deal breaker for me was that the spikes didn't relieve my achy body as much as the more pointed ones. The pillow pressure was nice and offered enough support to feel the spikes starting to work their magic. I love the little lumbar support pillow. That was heaven sent. I honestly didn't smell any lavender in it. Overall, it you want a good quality not quite as spikey acupuncture mat go with this one. Had I not needed more spikes I would have kept this one.

This is a game changer folks! I bought for my hudband for Christmas - we both use it. Yes it’s weird at first but the very first night we both slept through the night! We’ve had trouble in the past staying asleep, have circulation issues and pains in back shoulders and hips. The more we use this the better our blood flow and the less we ache! It is so worth it!

I love live love this. I live the first feeling of the sharpness in your back and I love that it relaxes me and does help with my back. Incredible sturdy matt and pillow with nag! Love it.

Let me save you time. There are not any reliable comparisons out there on acupressure mats. It's a roll of the dice. They vary in materials, size, components and most importantly, the pressure provided by the "spikes." What I like about this mat: 1) "Spikes" are sharp, meaning you are not likely to grow out of this mat any time soon. 2) This mats is reportedly made of environmentally responsible materials and by fairly treated labor. 3) It is an attractive mat. 4) You get lots for your money, as compared to the other options. You get a large main mat, pillow, foot mat, lumbar support and carry bag. And finally, yes, these mats do work as promoted. I can feel the chemical changes inside, which melt away the stress and seem to be helping with sleep. Don't really have back problems, so not sure if mats help there. No, I am not a company rep and paid full price for my mat. Cheers.
