Bought to use with a ryzen 5800x3d, doing an excellent job keeping the cpu cool. Fan is very quiet. A bit tricky to fit for a novice user, so some advanced computer knowledge is needed. My son bought the same one for the same cpu, both working great. Can't beat cooler master for air cooling. EDIT: After 6 months of use this cooler failed and my 5800x3d started hitting 90 degrees under load and was getting thermal throttled. I replaced it with a thermalright peerless assassin 120 se, cpu now fine under load. Apparently you can beat a cooler master for air cooling... who knew!

As well as looking slick in black, this has really good cooling performance. Easy to install and comes with thermal paste plus the stuff you need to add a second fan to the heat sync should you wish. Gresr value for money, I highly reccommend.

If you're using the stock cooler for your Intel cpu, don't. Buy this. My cpu was thermal throttling in games, since installing this (which was really easy btw) my PC feels like it has a completely different CPU in it. It literally added 10 FPS and stability to a game I play (pubg) so I highly recommend this. not to mention my PC is a lot quieter now.

Pros: genuinely very effective, spare parts and we'll explained instructions, great value for money, very sturdy and feels quality. Cons: absolute ballache to set up, looks kinda ugly

It's what I have come to expect for Cooler Master - everything included that you could possibly need for the variety of socket sizes, including fitting springs for an optional 'pull' fan you might want to add. Fitting it to a socket 1700 was a bit fiddly because you need to hold the backing plate in place while getting the attachment screws started but only took a minute of two. Whisper quiet and keeping my CPU at a cool 34 degrees. Would recommend.

It's all good but I have a ryzen 7 5800x and it just about keeps it just under 80c when under load and fan on full I'm guessing it would be more than enough for intel but if you have a fast ryzen this is not for you

Recently installed a Ryzen 7 5800x and needed a beefier fan than the wraith stealth that came with my previous and CPU, as that maxed out the CPU temp of 90 degrees for an uncomfortable length of time when running a 30 second stress test. After installing the Hyper I ran the same stress test and the CPU temp maxed out at 87 degrees at the very end of the test. In all I think this is an excellent alternative if your finances don't stretch to a water cooled system.

Habe diesen cooler gegen den boxed eines alten ryzen ersetzt mit dem ergebnis das die cpu nicht mehr im idle 90°c sondern 50°c hat. Tut was es soll. Was etwas fummelig ist ist die Montage da sehr viele boards/socket varianten möglich sind mit diesem Set. Bis dato keine Klagen läuft ruhig und kühlt ordentlich.
