Easy install and awesome shower panel - update
Update: Everything is quite well after about a year and a half of use with the shower panel and it still looks brand new! I did replace the mixer valve only because I wanted a true thermostatic mixer valve. I used the Rozin Solid Brass 1/2" Thermostatic Mixer Valve for Shower System Water Temperature Control Chrome Finish, from amazon.com. It matches the other valves, was an easy replacement, and is a definite improvement. I installed this in my motorhome right after it was delivered, this is one box that wasn't going to gather any dust.. Installation: - I removed my old RV fixtures and used EternaBond RSW-4-50 RoofSeal Sealant Tape to seal the screws and large holes for plumbing access. - I held the fixture up to see where to mount it, unfortunately the existing plumbing access holes determine where this has to go so it is a little off center and that will have to be fixed at a later date. I think getting an appropriately cut piece of polished aluminum or preferably stainless steel to cover the area will allow me to move the shower fixture into a better location. Another expected problem was the height of the fixture, to resolve this I cut the frame around my skylight that is over the shower to allow the new fixture to go up another 1 1/2 inches; and wallah another problem resolved. Again I used the sealant tape to close up the cuts I made. - I marked the locations to install the top mount and then measured down 37 3/8" and installed the lower mount. - I changed the batteries to a quality AA battery and put the battery pack in the pocket that seemed to be an obvious place for it to go. - I installed the handheld shower flow through holder with another screenless washer and my favorite handheld shower unit because the one that comes with the unit looks like a cheap piece of plastic junk. - Time to do some plumbing, fortunately the RV uses standard 1/2 inch FIP faucet connectors so it made the installation very easy. -- I installed two new screenless washers in the RV side and then tightened on the two 1/2" x 1/2" elbows that were included in the installation kit. I used screenless washers because I have filtered water and I also have an on-demand water heater that requires full water flow to work properly. -- I then put two more screenless washers in the fixture hoses and tighten them down to the elbows. -- Make sure you don't kink the hoses in the fixture or you will have problems, by the way they are very easy to kink. - Now I simply hung the unit up and admired it for a minute. Time to get naked and get in the shower (sorry for that mental picture, LOL). I got in got the temp adjusted right and tried the various features and they all worked very nicely. The only thing I didn't really care for were the two large round fixtures that really weren't very powerful. Everything else was great. The LED lights weren't working, oops remember that switch on the battery pack! I reached around and pulled the battery pack out and turned it on and presto I had LED lights which were kind of kool. As a side note, set your temp where you like it and leave it alone, use the feature valves to turn the water off and on and you will always have the perfectly adjusted shower, at least until your significant other changes it. I did get the shower panel at a much reduced price because I bought a slightly damaged unit, but it doesn't affect anything and I readily took care of the minor damage. I cannot say enough about how great this shower panel is both in appearance and functionality, not to mention how easy it was to install. It was really very convenient that everything was included in the installation kit for a standard install. The only features that could use improvement is the handheld shower and those big rings, but then maybe somebody else likes them. I'm going to buy another one for my parent's home.

The Bathroom Upgrade That Turns Every Shower Into a Spa Moment
This shower panel looks modern, elegant, and very impressive. It instantly gives the bathroom a more upgraded and spa-like feeling. I really like the sleek design because it looks stylish without being too bulky, and the different shower functions make it feel much more complete than a basic shower head. The water options are a great feature, especially for anyone who wants a more relaxing and comfortable shower experience. It looks well-designed, practical, and perfect for adding a touch of luxury to a bathroom. Overall, this is a beautiful and functional shower system that makes the bathroom feel more expensive and modern. It is a great choice for anyone looking to improve their shower area with something that looks high quality, stylish, and enjoyable to use. Iโm very happy with it and would definitely recommend it.

Amazing!!
I wanted to upgrade our standard shower head and hot/cold control with a shower panel after visiting a hotel with a shower similar to this. First off, after it's complete... it is amazing!!! It is hard to comment on a universal install because everyone has a different situation. It wasn't exactly easy to install, but it wasn't hard. From the photo, you can see we have a tile shower. I had to cut off the old hot/cold regulator (in the small tiled opening!) be careful not to lose the pipe in the wall, that was a challenge to get back. Then I got some shark bite fittings from a local hardware store and extended the pex pipe to come out of the wall a little bit since there is plenty of storage space in the panel itself. Sadly, this was the easy part! Next, I had to figure out how to mount the panel. It isn't heavy, maybe 15lbs.. so I first thought of trying to use the 4 mounts glued with double sided adhesive. It held for about 4 hours then fell down.. not a good idea. So I decided I ultimately have to drill holes in the tile, which is a daunting task. I'm no pro - so after about 2 hours, I had 2 holes drilled! I'm sure there was something I did wrong, I had used a diamond tipped carbide bit but apparently that's still not the key to getting it done quicker. Long story short, I got 2 holes done and that was enough... I screwed 2 mounts into the wall at the top and used double sided adhesive for the bottom ones to keep it from moving. It has been up for about a week and no issues at all! I found that our plumber originally placed flow restrictions so that explained why our old shower head had such low pressure. Once I installed this unit, the pressure is great and we can easily run 2 options at once. I imagine that you need a large water heater to take a decent shower if you opt out of any restrictions. We have a 75 gallon gas heater and havent had issues. When it is all said and done, it is amazing and elegant! I'm very happy with the purchase!

Do not purchase
This is the cheapest most terrible shower panel made, all the nozzles get hard water on them so quick, the light stopped working 2 weeks in, the whole back of it leaks so it had lines of mold and mildew on the back of it going all the way down, the temperature control stopped working after 4 months, hard to clean without staining, terrible customer service, I emailed multiple times about the shower panel and they kept responding wrong as if I'm installing a different appliance or acting like they couldn't understand me. The back of it is open so if you get a slight bit of water in the back, there's no room for it to come out on the bottom so it got rusted around the nozzles very quickly with hard water build up. Terrible!

So far so good
Impressed with the exterior design and look. The plastic wand and tub spout look good but would be nice to have had those in metal. Installation was pretty straightforward however I would not recommend installing this if you are an average DIYer. Internal components seem to be attached and connections do not leak however the connectors and plumbing used may end up failing overtime, especially with the pressure at my house. I have 80 lbs of pressure (which is rather high) which leads to great pressure with this unit even with multiple options turned on, but the fittings may not hold up with that overtime. Only reason for 4 stars is because of the fittings and plastic parts, but that is expected with a unit of this price. The light feature I thought was overkill until I installed it and checked it out. Will make for a nice relaxing shower first thing in the morning! The battery packs are somewhat easy to get to, I made sure I could access them when I mounted the unit so I don't have to take the whole thing down to replace the batteries. Overall a good purchase in my opinion. Will update if there are any issues that arise.

An unexpectedly great shower experience!
Installation was not trivial, but I was installing it in an existing tub enclosure and was limited by the placement of the holes for the original faucet, etc. I'm reasonably resourceful, however, and I figured it out. You have to do that, because the installation instructions are, at best, minimal. If you've never cut a bathroom wall open and used it afterwards, you might want to consider bringing in someone with more experience. The water supply lines were crimped, so they had to be replaced, but they were too short anyway. That was the major problem with the unit itself. Everything else was trying to make it fit over the openings and look good. By the time I was done, I needed a shower!! The controls are easy to use and fairly intuitive, but the markings on the selector knobs could be a lot better. For someone who needs reading glasses, the icons for each option are darned near invisible! I'll get used to it. The shower itself is unlike anything else! I have decided that the rainfall option is best for me. The blue LEDs are not a big thing for me, but others may like them. The water temperature display is really nice, as our water heater is set a bit on the high side. Our old faucets were so bad at maintaining a set temperature that they were practically useless. In one place on the listing for this unit I believe I read that these features are powered by a water dynamo. Not mine! There are two plastics cases in the back, each containing two AA batteries. There is also a push-button switch on the side that turns the LEDs on and off. Overall, this looks like it's going to be a worthwhile addition to the house. It looks impressive, and it works beautifully.

Looks Expensive and Gives You a Luxury Spa Experience for the Cost on a single Spa Treatment!
I went into this project with a $2500 budget for a nice shower panel. I was disappointed to discover they all cost $150-$250. I didn't want some cheap, flimsy panel that would give me issues. I actually bought this one more to look at it than really install it. It arrived very well packaged and in a protective sock more like I'd expect of a $1000+ product. Overall build quality is good and while it might not have the best valves you can buy, I decided to give it a go. I'm fairly handy, so from unboxing to fully installed was about 120 minutes. Most of the instructions are poorly translated so I tossed the manual (yup, I'm a guy). I also needed a retrofit unit and this one is designed for hot and cold hookup. I simply plugged the hot inlet and extended my showerhead output with a 30" extension and connected it to the cold water inlet, to turn it into a retrofit unit. The beauty of this was I could leave out the flow restrictors and the main valve now acts as a manual and adjustable flow control. I found setting it to about 70% works great, but if my wife needs to rinse the shower during cleaning she can crank it up and hose it down with the hand ward. Day to day you never touch the main valve on the panel as the shower is controlled from the existing valve at the entry to the shower. The first time I used it, I used the main showerhead and the body jets and hit the switch for the LED's and I must say it was the exotic spa experience I was expecting to get from a $2500 unit! I just have $2250 to spend on exotic soaps and body wash....right... I'm a guy. Overall, it looks expensive, feels expensive and I'm hoping it lasts. Worst case in a few years I just buy another one and hang it up. Now that the brackets are in place, swapping the entire unit would be a 15 min job...and I'd still be ahead $2000. Can't beat that!

Get what you pay for
Purchased and installed this unit 2 months ago. Was packaged well enough and upon inspection no issues were found. You should know ahead of time , as I did, that this is not a high quality item. Many plastic parts and instructions are not good. Checked all connections, and installed lithium batteries for temp display and leds. Install was straight forward, even with the poor instructions. Unit looks and performs well. No issues with anything yet with one exception. Because I am on a private well, I was able to increase my water pressure to about 50-70 psi which is enough for this unit for me. As stated in the title, I think you get what you pay for with this item. You can spend a lot more for other units and get upgraded quality. I would consider this an 8-10 year product, before it needs to be replaced. Time will tell. As for the one issue that I have with this unit. I am surprised that there are not more comments about the unit not being pressure balanced. If another shower, dishwasher, or washing machine is running at the same time, I get virtually no hot water. Wife was not pleased to learn this the first time! That being said, I was aware of this when it was purchased. Just didn't realized the differance would be so dramatic. Pressure balanced options are available for increased cost. It looks like I will be investing in a remote pressure balance valve that can be installed behind the unit. Amazon sells a Grohe unit for $156.

Difficult to Use
We have had this unit installed more than 2 months ago. We use it consistently. I guess, that for the price, we were expecting a unit which was better built. We find that the following things are annoying. (1) The temperature control is very sensitive. A little bit of a turn makes a very big difference in temperature. (2) The control knob labels are impossible to read when you are using the shower unit. They are even difficult to read with the shower off. (3) The thermometer is in Fahrenheit. We use Celsius in Canada. I can't contact anyone who can help me with that. (4) The handheld wand is plastic. Ours already has a mark on it which will not come off. It is very flimsy. The control switch is very difficult to move. (5) The manual is very minimal and difficult to read. (6) Worst of all.... I have had zero success in contacting anyone who I can deal with regarding any problems.
