I was pleasantly surprised by the large quantity of McCormick PREMIUM crushed red pepper that there is in the container, especially since it was offered at a very economical price. McCormick products are my favorite brand of cooking and baking seasonings and flavorings, they are CONSISTENTLY OF THE HIGHEST QUALITY. As soon as I opened the container, the color, appearance and aroma of the crushed red pepper assured me that I had selected the best brand for my cooking needs. I've purchased various OTHER BRANDS of crushed red pepper, but they were big disappointments and a waste of money because they were too powdery, instead of being whole pepper seeds, and the flavor and heat-levels of the other brands weren't as described on their containers. MCCORMICK HAS A LONG TRACK RECORD OF CONSISTENTLY PRODUCING ONLY TOP QUALITY PRODUCTS. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND THIS PRODUCT.
