Waffle Cone Art
Very sturdy waffle cone maker. Easy to clean and very simple to use. It was really fun to make the waffle cones because it was so simple the size is easy to store in the pantry. Overall great performance and and heat seemed evenly distributed. Love it!

Uneven burn
This did not work well. The back burned faster than the front. It could’ve been just the one I received

You Won't BELIEVE the Secret Hack for this Kitchen Gadget
This is gonna shock you. Because it's an idea that no one else has ever mentioned, when it comes to waffle cone makers. And it's a total game-changer when it comes to how you enjoy ice cream. And best of all, this secret actually makes it ten times easier to make waffle cones. Because it takes away the longest step. Which is having to mix up some waffle batter. I'll save you time, and lots of effort with this secret. Which I promise to share with you in just a moment. But first, let me at least say this..... Overall, this is a decent waffle cone maker, for the price. If you know the trick to making good waffle cones with it, then it's worth buying. But here's the honest truth, because you deserve to know it: No waffle cone maker under $100 makes ice cream shop quality cones. None. The waffle cones you enjoy at Baskin Robbins, or other well-known ice cream and frozen yogurt shops? They aren't made with a machine like this. Most of those places have a commercial-grade waffle cone maker. Maybe from Gold Medal, Nemco, Carnival King. We're talking $250 to $900 per machine. The waffle cone maker you're looking at now costs forty bucks. So it DOES work. Just don't expect a waffle cone as good as you'll find at BR. Because it will never make a waffle cone that good. Ever. No waffle cone maker under $100 makes an ice cream shop quality cone. I don't care what brand it is. And I've owned several. Electric ones. Stove-top ones that are basically a cast-iron griddle with a long handle. The problem is that it either makes the cones too soft to keep their shape and stay crunchy. Or they're too thin, and end up the thickness and texture of a crispy potato chip. This one does work great for making Choco Tacos. If you just make them round, then use a taco oven mold. But if you mix up some batter and try to roll your own traditional cones, it's difficult. Every inexpensive waffle cone maker is difficult to use. They take a good bit of trial and error to figure out how to get the cones just right. That's why I only gave this gadget four stars. Because most people will buy it, expecting ice cream shop cones. And that's not exactly what you'll get from it. But here's the good news...... HERE'S THE SECRET HACK THAT MAKES THIS MACHINE AWESOME: Cinnamon rolls. You know, the refrigerated kind at the store, that comes in a tube? You can actually use those in this machine. And the result is amazing. One morning our Daughter wanted me to make waffles for her, with our mini-waffle maker. But then I realized that we were out of pancake and waffle mix. But I realized that we had a tube of cinnamon rolls in the fridge. I opened the tube, took the cinnamon rolls apart, set the glaze to the side. Stuck a cinnamon roll in the center of the pre-heated waffle maker, and shut the lid. The lid slowly started to rise, as the cinnamon roll expanded. So I pressed the lid down all the way, once more. But held it in place. By pressing it down a second time, it actually helped the dough spread itself out completely into the griddle. And what came out of that waffle maker was fantastic. It was more dense than a regular waffle. And much tastier, with these yummy swirls of cinnamon. I eventually tried it with the orange flavored rolls, and used the orange glaze as a "dip" for the waffle sticks that I would cut. Best of all, I never had to prep anything. No mixing, no ingredients, no batter making a mess. All I needed was a tube of cinnamon rolls. Eventually, I realized something else. If cinnamon rolls worked that well in a waffle maker, how would they work in a waffle cone maker? The answer surprised me..... I tested using cinnamon rolls in my stove-top cast iron waffle cone griddle. While it was rare to get them as crunchy as a typical waffle cone, they often came out better than regular waffle cones. Because they were slightly thicker, and sometimes slightly chewy. It meant no risk of the waffle cones breaking, like they often do when you handle them. It also meant an amazing taste to the cone that complimented most ice creams (like adding a slight churro taste). They were much easier to shape. I could even drape them over an upside-down taco bowl pan, and bake them for a few minutes to make cinnamon roll waffle bowls for ice cream. Now, here's where the CucinaPro waffle cone maker comes in.... If you use the CucinaPro, you can make four cinnamon roll cones at a time. Which no other waffle cone maker at this price can do. I hit both sides with some butter cooking spray. Use four small cinnamon rolls, or resize larger rolls into balls. Place them in the center of each griddle area. Close it down, then let it rise back up on its own a bit. Then press the lid down again and hold it down. And then shape them as you see fit. Or don't shape them, use them as an edible "plate" for different toppings or desserts. I've even rolled them up with sweetened whipped cream cheese (like the kind iHop uses for their crepes), and made dessert taquitos. Works with Nutella as well. Point is, you're only limited by your imagination, when you use this gadget. I'm still coming up with new ideas for breakfast and dessert with it. Should you buy this waffle cone maker? Definitely. But order it with the right expectations. Just know that this, and every other waffle cone maker under $100, won't make the cones you're used to at shops. And that if you only use waffle or pancake batter with it, you might find it tricky to get the right thickness and texture even for basic waffle cones. But if you order it with the idea that you can use cinnamon rolls in it... THEN it becomes a five-star kitchen product. You'll make things that your friends and family have never tried before. And if they enjoy the taste of cinnamon rolls (who doesn't love Cinnabon?), I'm sure they'll enjoy your creations. So add it to your shopping cart, make your order when you're done reading this. And don't forget to stop at the grocery store next time you're out, stock up on different types of cinnamon rolls for your future yummy creations.

Waffle cones in an instant
If you like waffle cones the way our family does then this CucinaPro Mini Waffle maker is for you. Just mix up the batter, give it a quick spray of vegetable oil and spoon the batter into the spaces provided. Close the lid wait a few minutes and then roll them onto the shaper that is provided. Once cooled you are ready to add a scoop of your favorite ice cream. We took melted chocolate and coated the inside of the cone with a little extra in the tip and put them in the freezer for about 10 minutes before scooping in the ice cream. The grandkids loved making these with our supervision. The amount of batter you use is a learning process but after the first batch we pretty much had it down. The shaper works very well in making these mini cones the perfect shape. You can definitely tell the difference between to store bought cones and the fresh ones you just made. Homemade won hands down. You can even add your own spin on the flavor by adding cinnamon, vanilla, pumpkin spice etc. to the batter. Clean up is super easy since all you need is a damp paper towel to wipe out any crumbs or residual oil. It stores easily in a cupboard as it takes up minimal space. I reccomend this mini waffle maker to anyone that loves waffle cones. Have fun and enjoy. I hope you found this review helpful.

Bottom plastic cover broken
The plastic shell on the bottom surface is broken a pieces of the plastic are missing. Have not used it yet to know if it works properly or not but did turn it on and it seems to heat up well.

Doesn't bake evenly
This is a nice machine but the cooking instructions are off, they say 70-95sec, I had to cook for 2mins and each one was not baked evenly. The back 2 burners don't cook as well as the front. When the instructions say the green light will come on, the light is not actually green, it's a light orange.

Unfortunately this waffle maker doesn’t heat up to make crispy cones. Maybe it was faulty as the green light never came on.

I bought this product to make thin waffle cookies, not ice-cream cones. It works great with the recipe I included. However, the delicious waffles were so thin that hardly any dough could be added. I also needed a hand-made 2-pronged thingy using shish-ca-bob sticks to safley remove from the iron, otherwise you burn your fingers. You need to immediately place the hot waffles on a flat surface or they will cool "crooked". The one fault with the iron is than you REALLY need to press it down HARD while baking since it doesnt close well when it gets hot. This is getting worse as time goes on. It bakes 75% evenly and does not stick at all. This waffler can also make custom thin non-sweet CRACKERS ( rosemary, garlic, cheese, pepper, etc).

Malheureusement l'appareil a une cuisson inégale, ça cuit beaucoup trop vite dans le rond haut à gauche et au milieu de l'appareil, c'est assez décevant ! C'est pour cette raison que je n'utilise pas ce rond

Is it normal that we need to hold the lid and apply a high pression on it to close it well? See pictures, there’s a big gap when closing it. So, unable to get waffles from the two in front. Only the ones at the back give good result. Not sure if my product is defective or it’s the way it is. Not satisfied with the product but too much hassle for me to return it.
