Will it work in the Audi A4 2012?

I have a 2014 Q7 and the link is in the glove box and it works well. There isn’t much difference between the 2012-14 Q7s. Hopefully it’s the same for A4s. I really don’t think Audi is going to spend extra money on a different link for every car. Of course the Audi dealer has one to sell you for Audi money.

I just installed in my vw eos 2015, aux works but phone does not charge. what am i doing wrong?
