Bought this to mouse-proof a few gaps around the house and it’s been brilliant. The steel wool is nice and fine but still tough enough to block small rodents. Easy to cut and pack into gaps with the included gloves and scissors, and it stays put once in place. Haven’t seen any signs of mice getting through since fitting it. Only small thing is it can be a bit messy when cutting, but nothing major. Highly recommend if you’ve got a rodent problem or just want to mouse-proof your home properly.

So far so good with this steel wool. let’s hope it keeps the rats out for good. ordered three came in a box with gloves and scissors. Quantity seems good for price too.

Was able to seal most of the cracks and rodents entry/ exit holes. Very useful.

Wire wool pack is easy to use, the right size for my needs, has many different uses, value for money for this set of three.

Brilliant product. Used in my garage where rats got in last year. Any holes have been plugged with the steel wool which is a good preventative. It came with scissors so also great.

This SelfTek Steel Wool offers great value for the price. The 50ft in total (over 3 rolls) of ultra-fine steel wool is effective for multiple uses, such as filling holes to block mice and even removing rust from surfaces. I've used it for both so far with good results. It’s a versatile and affordable solution for rodent control and general household tasks. However, the product did not come with the advertised gloves and scissors, which was disappointing as it is why I picked it over some other options. Despite that, the quality of the steel wool itself is solid, making it a good buy overall for its intended purposes as long as you keep this in mind and do not buy it for those.

Easy to install, gloves and scissors are a thoughtful extra; plenty of material, enough for what I needed anyway, seems to have discouraged the unwelcome visitors... for now.
