Review: My only regret is not buying two bags to completely fill my 5 gallon pots! - I was a little surprised when I received my package, the picture does not the picture listed. I got the one that's on mother earths website, the updated one. Looks cooler, apart from that I decided to work with 5 5 gallon pots last minute instead of 4, so I bought some more coco coir in brick form from roots organic at my local shop. Nope stay away from that, this came fresh, slightly damp, looked amazing in color compared to roots organic, I had a slight heat wave while my plants were seedlings and the one in roots organic died. The rest of the four from mother earth did not, I did forget to pre-charge as this only comes pre buffered to a higher ph then what I wanted, my fault but I am on week 8 on my plants and they are growing fast and healthy, had no issues with the coco at all. No pests, no fungus, and have no issues with bringing my ph down when it climbs due to the natural nature of coco coir + my nutrients line. Review: Great quality coco - There wasn't any reviews when I ordered this and I'm new to coco so I was a little weary, but this stuff is awesome! I read you really want to flush coco when you get the bricks of it, but with this stuff it's not even necessary. I tested the ppm of runoff water after the very first flush with this and it was only 15 ppm than the water put through it. Essentially, it's completely clean and ready to use! One gripe -- unrelated to product quality. The first package I got sent was "destroyed in transit" so it took about a week total to get. Feel bad for the guy that had to clean up that mess though.
