5/8/2021: Almost 2 years later, UPDATE: I can’t say enough about this bed. Without exaggeration, it’s **absolutely FABULOUS**. Purchased this bed 12/2019 for my VERY TALL, now 6’2 teen who is around 300lbs. I don’t write reviews often. And I definitely don’t go back to review to update them. In this case, I am because I am BEYOND pleased with this purchase STILL! I was super unsure how well this bed would hold up over time (when I first bought it) because it was not very expensive & how it was made (Never had a bed with wooden slats~ removes the need for a box spring). I was also unsure because of a few negative reviews at the time. I’m SO GLAD I ignored them & took them with a grain of salt. My daughter is NOT GENTLE with anything she owns. NOTHING, and I mean nothing without exaggeration, lasts more than 3 weeks TOPS with her if I’m lucky. If there’s a way to break something, she’ll find it. This bed, to date, is THE BEST online purchase I’ve physically ever made. She’s moved the bed in her room now multiple times by herself . Has not listened to me to be “very careful” when moving the bed (I said be careful because of the single foot that is in the middle for support)....and this bed is STILL like the first day we got it. I haven’t needed to go in and tighten any screws. I haven’t needed to buy any special cleaners or a portable carpet cleaner with special attachments for upholstery to spot clean the fabric (one of my worries). This was another concern of mine. How well the fabric would hold up & take dirty food hands, makeup fingers, and...dirty food hands. Yes I said it twice, food stains were a big concern. This child will get ketchup on her BACK. Food on the back of her neck. In her hair. She physically destroys everything. Isn’t careful. She’s the type of child that makes a parent say “we can never have anything nice”. All this to say: I’m not sure if there is some special fabric protector on it (like a scotch guard) but for whatever reason, any food or make up she’s gotten on it simply wipes off super easy. Unbelievably no stains. I’m seriously beyond my mind how it’s so sturdy, has held up after being abused and STILL is like the first day we bought it. Absolutely beyond happy with this purchase. UPDATE- 3/10/20: Wanted to give an update since we have had the bed since 12/25/19. STILL 5 STARS!! Not one issue with the bed, at all, even given the fact it’s a 15 y/o’s bed (who does flop on the bed. Is 6’ 2” & 280lbs). Still looks like the day we got it. Truly my best purchase. So beyond happy!! Original review 12/26/19: Absolutely perfect!!!! It is gorgeous. Purchased the queen size. Looks just as pictured! The headboard is nice and high. It is a bit higher than the picture which is a huge plus! It’s even better in person. Did take me a solid hour to put this together by myself. (I did take my time). But considering what I paid for it, it was well worth it. I shopped for a good month trying to find an upholstered high back backboard. Every single one I found like this are a minimum of $500 (up to $3,000) for just the backboard alone. So for $230/$240 , I got not only just an upholstered back board but this is the backboard, the side rails and you do not need a boxspring! Put this together the day after Christmas, I’m going on a month of use now end it is absolutely perfection Reading some of the reviews, I was a little hesitant No pieces were missing, all of the holes lined up, and there is no overwhelming odor that one person stated. Certain smells can give me an absolute headache and I have a very high sense of smell. Absolutely no issues with any smell. There are indeed two boxes. Both boxes arrived the same day for me. They are marked on the box, very clearly box 1 of 2. Box 2 of 2. For the one poster who said they only received one box and “started putting it together then realized there had to be another box”..... I find that hard to believe. It is clearly marked on the box there are two boxes and this is box 1. You physically cannot do anything, or start to put together what is in box 1 without box 2, or put anything together in box 2 without box 1 . Knowing what’s in box 1 and box 2, I have no idea what they supposedly put together because you absolutely need both boxes to put ANY of it together. PRO TIP: As other people suggested, as well as the instructions suggested, ***hand tighten each side first.... Then go back and securely fasten after**** ***You will absolutely need an Electric screwdriver on the last step*****. The last step is screwing each wooden slat down (one screw (provided) on each end. This part goes very quick so long you have an electric screwdriver! After a month of use by my teenager, it seems very sturdy.

Let’s get the obvious out-of-the-way. This bed is absolutely beautiful. However, it has its flaws. Despite the flaws, it still deserves five stars simply because of the bang for the buck. There is nothing on the market that comes even close to a full king size headboard and frame for this cost! That HAS to factor in to the rating...and because of that, it allows me to look past some of the QC flaws that I personally experienced and have read in a few other reviews. The fabric is beautiful and of surprising quality. The silver beads along the wings are a beautiful and elegant touch without making it feel gaudy. Each individual ‘foot’ has an adjustment knob to ensure your bed sits level. At first I thought that was simply a nice, bonus feature. But after assembly I realized it was absolutely necessary. The center frame rails sit at different heights (some due to poor welding of the brackets that make them off center...see pictures). But because I could adjust the feet, I was able to level the bed (though it meant loosening two feet to the point of having all of the screw threads visible). I was able to assemble the king-size bed on my own, in huge part because of their creative brackets for attaching the side rails...hooks to hang one end while you screw in the other. Took me 2 hours from start to finish. 2 absolute musts for you: (1) ditch the Allen wrench and get a corresponding bit for a drill (lower the clutch so you don’t strip anything). These screws are long and the dinky wrench will take forever!!! (2) thumb tighten the side rails and footboard together first. Because it’s a cheaper bed, not all of the holes line up perfectly. By thumb tightening it, you ensure every screw a spot, while helping square up your bed. Finally, when you screw down the wooden slats, the picture in the instructions show it opposite of what it should be. The picture shows the fabric strap facing up, but it should be facing down. It is easy to tell this because the slats have felt glued to their underside where they make contact with the metal rails. You obviously want the felt on the metal, keeping it quiet. These are my thoughts and observations. Despite the poor welds in places, the bent and crooked brackets, the strong smell of the headboard (took a whole week to go away), and the fact that it seems a bit too long for a standard king (I can see the floor at the corners), I would still recommend this bed in a heartbeat. I cannot believe how little I paid. It sits very close to the wall and is secure (i.e. no bumping or wobbling during sex 🙌🏻).I attached pictures of everything I addressed in the review to help you in your decision! If you have a question, don’t hesitate to ask!! I was so skeptical thinking this bed is too good to be true...but it is *mostly true 😉😜 UPDATE: 12/14/2018: We have been using this bed for over a year and I’m happy to report it is still functioning the same as day one! No structural weaknesses, no fading, no warping, it’s great! All of the beads remain intact. No loose threads! I’m dumbfounded how well this thing has held up!! We even added a kid to our family...and the bed held up great! 🙌🏻😬 **2/6/2022 UPDATE: We have been using this bed now for over 4 years and it STILL looks as good as the day we bought it! No beads have fallen out. Not broken welds, nothing! I’m simply amazed. Another very cool feature worth mentioning: We recently moved across the country. When we packed up this bed, it was so simple because of it’s intuitive design: there is a hollow compartment on the rear of the headboard that fits the legs and hardware (this is how it comes shipped too). When we moved, we put the legs and hardware into the compartment and closed it with the provided fabric and Velcro enclosure. We wrapped the headboard in blankets, then used moving saran wrap around the entire piece. It arrived to our new location as good as new, and assembled just as easily as it should have! Note: side rails do not fit in storage compartment. We just wrapped those separately. If you still haven’t pulled the trigger on this bed at this point, then I have no clue what you’re doing with your life!!

When we ordered this bed, we received an incorrect color, luckily i ordered before we moved to our new place so we would have a bed ready for the new place. We ended up reaching out to customer service to let them know we got the wrong color and it was also ripped but that looked to be more so the carriers fault. I got a response in a timely manner and they were able to send me out the correct bed color in King. This bed was easy to put together, i was very surprised by the quality considering the price point. I am on a budget and we were moving so it can get pretty expensive during this transition. It took about 3 hours to put together between my partner and I. This bed is sturdy, beautifully colored, we got the grey color, its not exactly grey but it is beautiful. I loved it so much i ended up buying another one for my sister as a gift and might get one more for guest bedroom. Not only was their customer service excellent which makes me comfortable in my purchase and where i put my money but the bed itself is worth every penny. It truly looks like an expensive bed and i saw very similar beds at stores for $800 plus. All in all, I would recommend this bed. It is definitely worth it!

Pros: The bed looks like it’s worth a vast amount more than 200$ and is breathtaking in style. It holds up very well to fun time but does squeak a little. Fast delivery service !!! The bed is very comfortable and doesn’t cause my high end mattress to fall between the slates. Easy to put together with two or more people. Very sturdy and stylish as well as being very heavy and feels high end. This bed is absolutely beautiful and well worth the money. Cons: Very unlikely to be put together by one person, it is heavy, bulky, and very difficult to put together alone. The box was miss handled by the delivery service, this isn’t the company’s fault they have no control over who handles it after it leaves their facility!!! It had huge holes in the box thankfully the bed wasn’t damaged! The boxes were also opened when they arrived! Instructions were a bit vague and hard to go by. When you put the bed together make sure it’s in the place you want it because it is rather heavy and hard to move after being built. Slight gaps between the headboard and frame. (No bigger than 3 inches on both sides) The bed is more of a warm grey then a cool grey, so it looks more tan than grey. During a session with a partner the bed will squeak a little, same with harsh moments of any kind. The slats are on the cheap side, and are very light weight to be holding an expensive mattress. The stitching was a little uneven and coming loose in places, and the way the fabric is attached is a bit sloppy. The fabric is also frayed a little in spots but those are not visible when the bed is put together. !You need a power tool to put the slats on correctly, so if you don’t have a battery powered drill with a screwdriver attachment then you will be forced to put the slats into a stable position the old fashioned way.... with a regular screwdriver... it isn’t to fun to do it this way as I had to. Conclusion: Amazing quality for the price would recommend to anyone needing a bed frame that looks very high quality on the surface. It’s an astonishing price and has exceeded my expectations!! I would definitely buy it again!

Once assembled, this bed looks great and after a month seems very sturdy and perfect for first apartment. Time will tell how well it wears. Assembly was also relatively easy, although directions were a bit misleading in that needed a power screwdriver to finish and that was not clearly disclosed in directions. Worst part though was that a few parts were missing when it was first delivered. The manufacturer apparently does not take or receive phone calls, so the lack of support was a bit concerning. True to form, Amazon stepped in to take care of it (great customer service as usual). However, in a bit of an unusual situation I only needed the feet at the end of the bed (everything else was initially delivered), but the "fix" provided by Amazon was to send me a whole new bed (two huge boxes of parts). My task was to either fish the missing parts from the initial shipment out of the replacement bed and use them to finish assembly from the first bed, or send back the first bed and only use the second bed. Either way, was the "sending back" that was a royal pain in the a**. I had taped together the second ship boxes as best as I could and arranged with UPS to pick them up from our residence, per Amazon's instructions. When UPS failed to pick up the boxes, they said they were too large to pick up from our residence. So I had to load these two huge boxes, barely fitting in my car, and take to a local UPS location. Further, Amazon only send me one ship label to send back both boxes, and when I arrived to UPS with the one ship label they refused to send back both boxes -- saying they needed two labels. Yes I was able to go back home with one of the boxes and contact Amazon customer service (again) and get them to send a second ship label so that I could go back to UPS again the next day and send it out --- but what a comedy of errors! A whole bed for missing a couple of parts, and the whole ship fiasco, to say the least was a difficult customer experience. Still, I'm hopeful that I will see the value from this low price bed that really has a great look to it!

First off, the packaging is sufficient. Not super quality but sufficient enough to prevent damages. The money they saved on packaging more than makes up for what is most important (well, to me anyway). An that is the bed is built really well and made of quality materials. All of it. They use plywood. NOT cheap press wood crap. Real. Plywood. (see photo) All the fittings and hardware are quality metal (see photo). NOT cheap pot metal crap. And the tools needed for the assembly are included in the hardware pack. Comes in 2 boxes, headboard assembly and hardware pack in one, sideboards, slats and footboard in another (see photos). The headboard has a cloth backing that can be opened using full length velcro closures. This for ease of assembly and to store additional parts offering more effective flat packing for shipment. (see 3 of the photos). The hardware is packed in separate pouches with identifying stickers that coincide with the well illustrated instructions. However, these stickers can and do come off during shipment so they're a little useless. But that's okay because the illustrations in the instructions help define what goes where anyway so they're really not needed. The supporting legs for the headboard come with plastic knobs for feet which we were afraid would scratch hardwood flooring, so I easily removed them using a flathead screwdriver and replaced them with felt furniture feet that have adhesive backing (see photos). The foot board legs came packed with a protective plastic sleeve on the threads and felt furniture feet already in place (nice and see photo)... just wonder why they didn't put that felt on ALL the feet, but it was easily fixed, as mentioned previously. Well built, assembly is quick and easy, instructions well illustrated and easy to follow. Tools and hardware are included. Hell of a deal!

I, like everyone else, was skeptical that this bed frame could be any good considering the amazing price. However, I was happy to find that the bed frame exceeded my expectations and is really sturdy for an every day used bed. I ordered the king size, and it came in two separate boxes: one being the head board and smaller length pieces and the other being the long wood rails. Considering how inexpensive the frame was, the tufting on the headboard was well done and looked really nice. Now, it will never pass as a thousands of dollars frame, but it definitely looks a lot more expensive than what I paid. Unlike some people's reviews, mine did come with instructions to put it together and they were relatively straight forward and easy to understand. The rails are real wood, though not incredibly thick, and the hardware seems high quality and could take the brunt of abuse from just about anything. When fully put together the frame doesn't wobble and there is no creaking or noise to speak of. My only concern is whether the bed slats will hold up after a few years of use. While they are also real wood, they are fairly thin and I can see this being a problem if you sit down on the bed too hard or have a kid jump on it a few too many times. Either way, it would be very easy to replace them with some wood cut down to size. All in all, I am very happy with the purchase and really like the look of the bed frame. It kind of makes the rest of my bedroom look a little shabby in comparison, so I may have to do some updating to everything else to make it look as nice.

Beautiful bed. I bought this one because the side-rails are one piece. I see other beds online that are two-piece. This is a classy look for a great price.
