In the shoulders, body and arms it is still tight enough that it will highlight your physique a little bit, but not so tight it is restricting. The length is a little past your belt buckle but does not stick out past your coat. The sleeves and waist are hemmed which provide a more fitted look rather than just hanging loose on your wrists and waist. This little design technique takes it from just a sweatshirt to a little dressier option allowing for more occasions to wear it. The material is a midweight cotton that breathes pretty well especially when layering with a long sleeve shirt. in terms of warmth, I would say you would be comfortable with this piece by itself or with a light jacket on most days in the 40's and above anything below that I would say you need a heavier coat. The sweatshirt comes in many colors to much any outfit or occasion. I liked it so much I bought the burgundy color also. I am thinking about getting a couple more in other colors. I haven't had this fleece pullover for that long.
