Cheap rubbish avoid. Cheaply made dropshipped item that is one third the price on aliexpress where it was originally bought from. Didn't even work out of the box. Rubbish.

I have tried 5 different boxes over the last 3 years and this is the best yet for the price. BUT has failed after 9 months.

OK at first, then withing a few weeks they fail and they stick on BOOT with no options to reset them. Utter junk to be fair, save your money and either buy the X96 Max Plus Ultra or if you can afford it the Nvidia Shield Pro If you still buy one of these, i promise you it will fail (bought a bulk load and every single one has failed within 3 months)

Suite à mon commentaire du 9 Octobre 2023, où je parlais de ma déception du brick de la box, je l'ai solutionné avec la manipulation suivante et dans l'ordre : 1) Déconnecter tous les câbles 2) Enfoncer un cure-dent dans le trou "AV" 3) Relier le câble HDMI 4) Relier le câble d'alimentation de la box (relâcher le cure-dent) Si ça peut aider quelqu'un dans la même situation. Désormais, tout fonctionne très bien.

Technically looks like a great piece of equipment, in reality it is not fit for purpose. It's some adjusted version of tablet android 12 that is purposely crippled as far as permissions go so it is virtually impossible to install any other apps, correction, it allows you to install any app but it will not apply the permissions required to run that app !!?? I ran AIDA64 app, does not require permissions?? reports an Amlogic s912 chip, I also ran Device Info app that reports it as an Allwinner H618 chip but identifies it as a Pixel 3 tablet. Bluetooth only works when Wi-Fi is turned on, my BT Ear Buds kept disconnecting, but work perfectly on all other devices. I have done a factory reset, twice, solving nothing Icing on the cake, came with a non EU plug, the seller does not mention that!! you need an adapter, silly me I should have realized that, it was coming from the UK after all. Other than that it will make an attractive coaster for my coffee mug. Better luck with the next one. Oh if you want this for streaming TV, it is not licensed so streaming will "not" be at HD or above and movies will not play at 6k, 4k is the limit.
