Worked perfectly! Cut square and clean

For what I needed, this tool was perfect and worked beyond expectations. I needed to get rid of a small length of leaking 1/4" OD tubing, add a shut-off valve and remove an old inline filter that the plumber who removed our RO system said, "ah, just leave it there, it's not hurting anything". The cuts were perfect and part to push in the collets was easy to use (in reality, you fingers work just fine for that). All done in about 10 minutes for a first-timer. Well worth the money.

It's really a 3.5 stars, but I'm not aware of anything better for the money so 4 is fair enough. The blade doesn't stay sharp particularly long. Also there's oil on the blade left over from the manufacturing process that seems prudent to clean before using on drinking water hoses. It's what I use, but nothing to write home about.

Wow, I saw this in a video on setting up a kegerator and thought, I don't need that, my knife works fine, then I got all new fittings for my all new 8 tap kegerator and they emphasize straight cuts for the duotight fittings. So why not give the inexpensive cutter a try. It really is a game changer, it is so fast, so easy to use and the cuts are perfect. Between the new pressure fittings, bye bye cable clamps, and this cutter for lines I bet I cut (pun intended) time by 70%. My photo shows the kegerator, not much point in showing the cutter, the website shows it just fine. But you can see the nicely cut lines in the image.

This cutter works very well. I'm very happy with it.

Good purchase

For the price, I mean, I cant expect a whole lot of quality… but I constantly have to recut the ends of my RO tubing to get it flat. Once the blade touches the tubing, I actually have to pull back on the tubing to slightly bend the blade back into 90 degrees to get the cut I want. I’ll be buying a larger tubing cutter.

It cuts straight. Just make sure you place it in the groove properly and one cut

I had this in my tool box. And while rummaging and looking for something I touched the blade. It is SUPER sharp and sliced right into my finger. Wouldn't stop bleeding for a very long time. Very sharp. Works great on pipe. Keep away from fingers.
