Very nice looking, solid bowl. Seems well made.
I bought this to replace an old salad bowl that had seen better days. I was surprised at how solid and substantial this bowl is. It's large enough to use when we have guests, and looks quite nice on the table. As with any wooden bowl or utensils, I would recommend washing and drying promptly after using it. Don't leave it wet or in a sink for long periods, and it should hold up very well. We're quite happy with this bowl, and feel it's a good value for the price. And it seems that it should last quite a while if taken care of properly

Lightweight and Holds a Lot.
Great, lightweight bowl that has a flat bottom — so doesn’t spill. Holds a surprising amount of salad. Very happy with purchase. I notice that most reviews don’t mention capacity, so I will. It holds more than 3 quarts of water (to about an inch under brim). Plenty of capacity for a family of 4. I oiled it and wiped it out. If I don’t drop it, it should last forever (since I never soak it in water). Again, it’s quite lightweight, which I love. My old wooden salad bowl weighed a ton.p For the price, it’s hard to beat.
