The "purple" shade looks more like a blush pink in the images. Is it a pale purply mauve or actually blush pink?

I thought exactly the same , so bought it hoping it was blush pink & it is , very nice colour & definitely not purple

Is it sturdy enough to seat?

It’s only strengthened cardboard so can’t have a lot of weight on, but it’s fairly sturdy to put cushions or linen on.

With large ones can you turn lid over for a coffee table like with small?

I personally would not its lined with a black material, so any accidents !!!!
