The top has a CD player and there are basic functions: play, pause, skip, back, repeat. It also has the ability to connect via bluetooth or usb if desired. There are lights that pulse from the sides that can be turned off. The sound quality is good and there are no issues with skipping. You can either use batteries or plug in the device. The overall quality looks good too. No major issues and it doesn't seem flimsy either. That being said, you wouldn't want to give this to a toddler for them to try to break, but any child over 5 should be fine. Overall easy to use. Review: does not work properly - First order plug would not stay in and lighted controls difficult to see so i returned for another. Plug stays in but stoll can’t read lighted control and cd player doesnt play most of the time while same cds play perfectly all the time on my other different brand player.
