After trying several and well known makes which have either blown after a short time, badly dripped when pouring, taken ages to boil, or the amount of water they hold only just enough to fill two small cups, this kettle is just great. It's very stylish, holds a litre of water, enough for two good mugs, boils very quickly and pours water into cups not spurts out the side of the spout. It also has a concealed element so very easy cleaning. Might be a little more expensive than other low wattage kettles but most certainly worth it.
