You’re definitely drawing a look from your conversation partner with the rose gold twinkle in your ear(probably why they’re cheaper). Speaking of conversation, they could’ve opened up the plug a little more. Feels like a struggle to understand the other person.

These earplugs were absolutely life-changing for me. In high school, I was diagnosed with a sensory processing issue that affects my ability to tune out background noise and understand speech as well as increasing my sensitivity to loud noise. I sometimes manage to get by in noisy environments (such as restaurants, for example) by lip-reading, but I’m not able to participate much in conversation since I can’t separate the voices of those in front of me from all the sound behind me and am just generally a little overwhelmed by the sheer volume of my surroundings. I bought these earplugs hoping that they would help me enjoy spending time out with my friends and family, and on the first use at a crowded restaurant, they made a huge difference! For the first time, I was able to successfully hold conversation with my husband, focusing on his words without worrying about the crowd behind us. Both of us noticed a marked difference in our ability to communicate as well as my level of relaxation. As for the product itself, I’m thrilled with the versatility this set offers, allowing me to easily add additional noise dampening when I need it. The experience loops let enough sound in that I don’t feel like I’m missing out on anything around me while still reducing the noise level, and the additional quiet loops have even blocked the sound of my husband nailing a countertop together next to me. The earplugs are also very comfortable and come with a variety of sizes. I use the smallest foam set, which, after a little trial and error, fit comfortably in my ear. So far, I’ve worn them for hours on end and have experienced no discomfort. I can’t recommend these earbuds enough. I wish I had bought them sooner!

These earbuds are perfect at filtering unwanted background noise. For the naysayers: these earbuds are not meant for sleeping. What they do is, reduce/filter sounds that are often overwhelming and distracting. I am able to have a nice conversation with someone sitting close to me without hearing the many different background noises.

These Loop experience pro plugs were bought for personal use for when I work from home or in the office. They block out background noise, such as traffic, and reduce overall volume, like people speaking, allowing me better concentration. The bonus is that you can still hear conversation such as in the office, I can hear if someone is speaking to me directly, albeit more quietly. I also have a noisy family so often the radio, TV, games console can be on and it just sounds like a din to me - these Loop plugs make it 18 -25 decibels more bearable! You can choose whether you want to reduce the noise by 18 or 25 decibels by fitting an additional silicone ring - it's hard to explain in text but very easy to do, taking approximately 10 seconds....the main point is that you can choose and adjust. I have small ear canals and with usual bud type earphones wear the smallest - Loop are true to size and comfortable to wear for extended periods of time. I did try sleeping in them as it's hot and we live on a busy main road, they did work in terms of noise reduction but I'm a side sleeper so this wasn't comfortable halfway through the night (having said that, Loop experience pro aren't advertised for sleeping and have a different product which are). I can see that these would be really useful for travelling on public transport E.G. noisy trains if you wanted to work/read and didn't want to listen to music. I'm really glad I bought these, they work well for me and come with a protective case for storage. Good value for money.
