## Description

Grin Tech Front Universal Torque Arm with Double Hose Clamp. Laser cut Thick 1/4" Stainless Plate. Protects Ebike dropouts from axle spinout. Mention for M12 or M14 axles Made in Canada. FAQ: Q: Is one torque arm enough, or should I use two? A: For the torque arms we make with the thick ¼" axle plate, one is almost always more sufficient. Installing a 2nd torque arm will be tricky if you have a hub where the cable exits the end of the axle, as you'll need to cut the connectors off the wire and then reattach them. If you are using a 3rd party torque arm that is made from thinner 1/8" (3mm) metal plate, then we'd recommend doubling up and installing 2 arms. Q: Does it matter if I have 12mm or 14mm axles? A: No it does not matter, the torque arm plates are sized to accommodate a 14mm axle, but will fit a 12mm fine as well. With a 12mm axle, there is a small gap at the top or bottom of the slotted hole, but it is of no consequence and does not affect the spinout retention strength.

## Questions & Answers

**Q: Would two if these fit im scared to ride my e-bike now. My tire fell off in traffic**
A: It's possible to fit on both the left and right sides if your motor has cable exiting the side of the axle. But if the wire exits the end of the axle, then to fit one on the wire side you'll need to cut off and reattach the electrical connectors as they won't usually fit through the cutout of the torque arm plate.

**Q: Would this work on a rear hub motor? Or is there on specific for rear**
A: This is not recommended for a rear installation. The geometry of the plates was put together with a front fork in mind. Have a look at this option for rear motors: https://www.amazon.com/Grin-Technologies-Universal-Electric-ebikes/dp/B00K60C67Y?ref_=bl_dp_s_web_9287828011

**Q: Is this a pair for both sides or just one?**
A: It is a pair. It has several adjustments to make seeing on side and behind easy.

**Q: I have a 1500 w front hum motor. Will it work for this set up?**
A: If you have a hub motor with M14 axle diameter that is machined to 10mm on the flats, then it will work with power levels up to 1500 watts pretty well. But I wouldn't be comfortable putting that much power through an M12 axle which doesn't have nearly as much bite against spinout.
