Game changer
I started CPAP therapy about 3 weeks ago. I'm a side sleeper with a full face mask and week 1 with a normal pillow was horrible. Constant leaks waking me up every night. I decided to try a CPAP specific pillow and after doing some research, I found that this pillow was highly rated on several different lists. However, I was hesitant to order it because the shape just looked so weird. It didn't look like it could possibly be comfortable. Instead, I tried the Lunderg Parkin pillow, but found it to be somewhat uncomfortable and I was still having leaks. I gave in and ordered the EnduriMed pillow based on its reviews. What a difference! I normally don't sleep on memory foam, but this pillow is SO comfortable. The cut outs fit my mask perfectly and cradle my head comfortably. I had no leaks and slept through the whole night! I'm considering ordering another one just to have in case something happens to this one. If you wear full face and are a side sleeper I can't recommend this pillow enough!

Contour CPAPMax 2.0 vs EnduriMed. EnduriMed wins.
After switching to a full face CPAP mask and having issues with a regular pillow causing my mask to leak and leave long lasting red marks on my face I started researching CPAP pillows. There aren't too many helpful videos or comparisons of CPAP pillows, only general recommendations. The 2 that I found were consistently recommended were the Contour CPAPMax Pillow 2.0 and this EnduriMed pillow. I decided to buy both hoping one would fix my issues. The EnduriMed pillow came first and so I slept with it for 2 nights before the Contour pillow came and I was impressed. When the Contour pillow came I unpackaged it and started testing it out. I knew pretty much instantly that I wanted to keep the EnduriMed. Here are my thoughts: 1) These pillow share one thing in common which is that they are both firm, or at least firmer than what I am used to. I believe this could be a necessity with CPAP pillows to prevent the mask from sinking into the pillow too much (which caused all my issues). 2) The quality of the Contour pillow seemed cheaper to me and the design way more simple/basic. It's just a regular firm pillow with cut outs on the sides which might work for some people but never felt like it would for me. The cut outs were a bit too big for my head so that when I would lay on my side, the top of my head wasn't supported as well which would allow my head to fall right off the side into the cut out opening. The EnduriMed cutout opening is not as big. This of course means that if you have a larger head perhaps the Contour pillow would fit better but I don't think I have that small of a head and the EnduriMed cutouts just seemed to be a better size. Also as you can see in the images of the EnduriMed pillow, it has 4 cutouts which just allow you to flip the pillow around to give you a different fit which may work better for some people. If your forehead isn't supported well while your mask is off to the side of these pillows, the pillow won't work. Your head will fall off the pillow. The EnduriMed was a better fit for my head (and I'd guess the majority of heads out there). 3) The side cutouts on the EnduriMed are much better. With the Contour pillow they are basically cliffs with a straight drop off. Each side of the EnduriMed pillow are more like a hill with a gradual slope to the bottom. They do this with a slightly softer foam in the pillow's cutouts that provide a softer less firm support for your mask and mouth area. This is so much better than what the Contour pillow provides which is nothing, just a cliff. This makes getting your head and mask positioned comfortably on the EnduriMed pillow much easier than with the Contour pillow which in my testing and trying to make it work was just way more difficult because you have to perfectly position your head at the edge of the pillow for your mask to go off the sides and not into the pillow. Overall, the EnduriMed pillow seems to be higher quality, a more thoughtful, smart and engineered design that just made way more sense then the Contour pillow which by contrast seemed cheaper and has a very basic design which did not fit me. That doesn't mean it won't fit you but I'd say you'd have a better chance with the EnduriMed pillow. It's more flexible in it's design which allows more people to find the right position/fit as well as having smart cut outs instead of dumb cutouts make it a much more functional comfortable pillow. I'm honestly surprised that the Contour pillow get's such glowing praise and seems to always be the overall recommended CPAP pillow across most websites I came across. Maybe I'm a dummy that couldn't figure out how to use it correctly, but IMO the EnduriMed is way better and should always be recommended over the Contour. I've been using the EnduriMed for about a month now and it's resolved all mask issues.

Good CPAP Pillow
I use an AirSense 10 CPAP with an AirFit F20 full mask. For years I used a relatively firm memory foam pillow. Sleep quality was pretty good; however, I found that I needed to sleep on the edge of the pillow or tighten the headgear to ensure the mask didn't get pushed too far and create a leak (some nights I found that my nose was actually touching the side of the mask). The tight mask caused deep creases in my cheeks. After using the EnduriMed CPAP pillow, I found that I could loosen my headgear and still have no leaks (greatly reducing the mask marks on my face). I ordered a combo pack of the pillow and a white cooling pillow case (it was cheaper than separately buying the pillow and cooling pillow case). The price was comparable to memory foam pillows in stores. The pillow already comes with a cotton pillow case, so I figured I had a spare. However, I found that the special pillow cases are unnecessary. The pillow fits in standard allergen covers and pillow cases. If I had a do-over, I would just order the pillow and not the special cooling pillow case. In general, I am happy with this pillow. The only reason that I did not rate it five stars is that it is very firm, even more firm than my previous memory foam pillow. The firmness is probably necessary to make sure the pillow doesn't interfere with the mask; however, it took some getting used to. I would rate this pillow closer to five stars if fractional ratings were possible. I recommend this pillow and will order another one when the time comes.

I am a side sleeper, a CPAP user and this pillow really works for me.
Hello Amazon World, This is the first review I have ever written for something I bought off of Amazon. Like a lot of folks looking at this pillow, I was at my wits end. I had been sleep deprived for a long time, got diagnosed with severe sleep apnea and looked toward my CPAP machine as the thing that was going to turn my life around all to discover it would not be an instant fix but a series of macro and micro adjustments on the path towards better sleep and health. My pillow situation was a macro adjustment. I have always side slept propped up with a mountain of pillows and a neck bone pillow (loved that thing fiercely) but that set up was not going to work with the mask. I fiddled with the pillows I owned, bought others at Costco and Target and then went searching online to see what solutions other folks found and found this EnduriMed CPAP pillow--which has exceeded all expectations. The minute I laid down on the pillow with my mask on I knew it was victory!! I really struggled to spend so much on one pillow, but remembered another reviewer who said just buy the dang thing and they were right! This pillow really works for me as a side sleeper. I use a Resmed AirFit P30i nasal pillow air mask and I am able to side sleep very comfortably with an acceptable amount of mask movement. The longer I use the pillow, the less I seem to disturb the mask while I sleep and move around. This product gets a whopping and well deserved 5 stars from me. I am two weeks in with using the EnduriMed CPAP pillow and I think it might be the best pillow I have ever owned--period. Now onto those micro adjustments ....

Ok for side sleepers, not good for back sleepers.
I used a nasal mask with my CPAP machine. Currently I have a cervical support pillow, which has a divet/cutout in the of the pillow so that when you lay on your back the back of you head will drop down into the hole while there is a good and firm support under your neck for support. This works great with CPAP because this allows our windpipe to open up better as the head goes back and the support holds the neck curve up. The problem with cervical pillow is that a CPAP mask can get pushed and tugged when side sleeping. So, when I found this pillow made for CPAP users I thought this will be great. I received my CPAP pillow within the past 2 weeks. It works pretty well for side sleeping as the cutouts allow the mask and it's straps to freely drop into the cutouts and the pillow material doesn't then push on the mask and straps causing irritation or the mask to become lose and leak annoying air. The problem is when I flip onto my back during the night and there is no divet/cutout like my cervical pillow. This pillow is like a regular pillow when you sleep on your back, and it pushes your head up and the chin towards the neck and chest, which restricts airflow in our airway. If this pillow had a nice divet/dip for the head when sleeping on our backs, then it will be great as that way I can sleep on my side and my back with much less pillow interference on my CPAP mask. As it is right now I can't fully use this $60 pillow as I tend to flip to my back during the night at least once or twice, and with this pillow it wakes me up when I do that. I'm thinking about making the center cutout myself so that I am not out $60 and throwing it away on a pillow I can't use. One other thing that would make this pillow perfect is if this pillow were offered in a slightly higher/thicker size. My cervical pillow has a nearly perfect height for me, and it's about 3/4 to 1" thicker/higher and that allow my head to stay level when I sleep on my side instead of allowing my head to tilt down towards one shoulder or the other when on my side. I need a pillow that combines a cervical support style pillow with a CPAP pillow, and offered in 2-3 thickness sizes. That would be awesome!

High and hard
The pillow is much too high for a 5’3” person. It is hard. The fit isn’t close to my cpap mask needs.

Comfortable for sleeping
Love this pillow. I got it to replace another CPAP pillow and that one was always flattish and uncomfortable. This one is very comfortable. I am a side sleeper and either side and it's high enough but not too high. I

much improved sleep for CPAP user
Purchased as I use a CPAP machine with nasal mask and have issues with finding a comfortable and leak free sleeping position. Review suggested this would be a helpful item and after five nights of much improved sleep i agree. the shape looks odd but it really work as the depressions in the foam allow the mask and tubing to sit comfortably without pushing into my face which I find causes leaks. I took out the additional foam pad as this made the pillow too high for me and put it in a regular pillow case as well. Only slight criticism is that with the higher foam pad removed there is some bagginess of the supplied cover which is a little annoying although the fabric is soft so not causing any issues. I could I suppose remove the supplied cover and just use a pillow case. overall a good purchase. a little pricey but worth it as I have had the most relaxed nights sleeps since starting CPAP in July.

Great pillow!
I was rather skeptical that this pillow would help my neck pain and sleep quality, but having read the reviews I decided to try it. The first night I used it I woke up the next morning with no neck pain! Having used it for a couple of weeks I find I am sleeping better and do not have to constantly adjust my pillow through the night. I like that it gives you options with an insert to raise the level of the pillow if needed. It's a smart design and I would recommend trying it for yourself.

Unusable, giving me neck pain
I had given five star review earlier, but have to revise the review now. This pillow is becoming more uncomfortable with usage. Within 10 days of usage, neck pain is increasing. So, instead of using this pillow, I just slept to a side by folding my hand at elbow and resting my head on my forearm. The gap at the elbow prevented mask leaks well enough. By the way, I learnt that this is also a yoga pose for to breathe easy and sleep well. I guess most of the positive reviews would have come from customers in initial days of purchase. Only after they gave positive reviews and after the return period is over, they would have realized that this product is not just useless, but also harmful. This purchase is a costly mistake.
