Can you realistically use a hybrid bike on this non-slick tires? The only thing preventing me from buying this right now...

You could use this trainer with tires that aren't slick, however you will experiance a very noisy and bumpy ride that will most likely be too annoying to use comfortably. I would recommend buying a cheap rear slick tire to use on your hybrid bike.

Should work, though it’s better if you put a trainer tire on the rear wheel, then it will definitely work.
