Q: does the asics gt-2000 10 tennis shoe run narrow or wide or true to fit ? i can't wear a narrow shoe ! thanks for your help.

Runs pretty true. Some earlier versions of GT-2000 ran narrow in the toes but 10 seems good for me.

Q: Is the material at top of toe box more durable than GT-2000-9 version? My toes put a hole through prior versions of this shoe with very limited use.

The GT-10 appears to have a tighter knit, the GT 9 has more of a mesh. I would say this should help your toes. The toe box seems to be the same height. I have the GT 10 and 9. Also have the New balance 860 fresh foam 12. The New balance toe box is roomier and wider than the ASICS. That may be an option for you. All are stability shoes, if this helps.

Q: Are these non marking?

Dont use shoes like this for anything but walking or running though. They're not designed at all for other indoor sports. just fyi.

Q: How do they compare with Kayano 28?

Both are considered stability shoes, I have both and the GT-10 is built more for pronators, and has more cushioning in my opinion. The Kayano can also work for neutral feet as well.
