Great overview of Lichtenstein's work.
It covered his techniques, thinking and pieces in detail without going into boringness. Easy, quick read with beautiful pictures. For any fan of art, this gives you several things and people to look into.

Good, thorough introduction
Part of Taschen’s “Basic Art” series, this is a 95 page overview of the artist’s work. A very good, in-depth introduction with many works reproduced. The binding isn't spectacular but it's serviceable and that keeps the price low.

Roy Lichtenstein’s work is the ultimate "double take" of the art world. At first glance, it’s a giant comic strip; at second, it’s a sophisticated, hand-painted critique of how we consume information. If you're looking for a review of his impact, it’s best to view him as a "playful technician" who turned the industrial into the immortal.
