Yes they can.....i use them all the time, they can be used fresh or dried (bake them on a sheet in the oven) Fabulous healthy tree that has doubled in size in just a few months too!

Yes. I’ve used the bay leaves plenty of times in cooking.

No they are evergreen but have no scent. A very nice small tree though.
