What is the actual height of the filter?

Answer to that depends on how one would measure the height. The only answer I can give is that Bunn filters are about half an inch talled in the basket than commonly available flat bottom brands. They are tall enough to contain all the coffee grounds used in brewing a full pot.

Are these filters as pictured and, true 10/12 cup size?

The filters I received were labeled 8/12 cup and measured the same as other brands' 8/12 cup filter: 8.5 inches diameter edge-to-edge and 3.25 inches at the base. They do not prevent overflow of grounds and I returned them.

Do these filters come in the black box shown or the cream colored box?

Over the 30 plus years I've been using a Bunn Coffee maker, I think there have been a couple changes in the package. But for at least 8-10 years it has been the one shown.
